MusicLab Records is a production company found and run by The Synthesist (Can Kutlu) and Alfie Smith. 

Who are we?

Alfie Smith and Can Kutlu (The Synthesist) are two emerging artists from Liverpool, UK, both recently graduating from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and now working as professional musicians and as a producer / composer duo.

Dave Lumbard a. k. a "Phobeus" , electronic and ambient techno artist, surfer, music producer living in kernow promoting "cornish ambient techno". 

Lover of Electronic and modular synthesizer music, IDM, techno and collecting vinyl. Lover of travelling and searching for new inspirations in exotic places. All music available to download on Spotify and Band camp, check it out!! New Lp on the way entitled "Pareidolia" some tracks out now and others in 2026.
