Influenced by everything from Bonobo, Sufjan Stevens and Cinematic Orchestra to classical, jazz and the mercurial Brian Eno, French artist Jeremy Villecourt aka Croquet Club distills his many musical loves into a beautiful double dose of deeply musical electronica for Anjunadeep.

Blending elements of ambient electronica, indie and dreamy deep house into a swirling sonic journey, "Awake" is a brilliant debut from the French maestro. With gentle bass grooves, uplifting guitar plucks, lulling keys and hypnotic vocals, "Awake" is a blissed-out gem that has already picked up radio play from Nemone on BBC 6 Music.

Completing an impressive debut is the gentle, cascading pianos and washing electronic waves of "Cardigan". The opening track from the recent "Anjunadeep 05" album, "Cardigan" has already proved a cult favourite amongst the Anjunadeep fanbase, as well as earning BBC Radio 1 support from Zane Lowe.

The EP also represents an extended purple patch for the Anjunadeep label, having recently released the brilliant "Mr Man" by Dusky, hit #1 on Hype Machine with "Be Mine" by Lane 8 and topped the iTunes Dance Album charts with "Anjunadeep 05".

Kyson - How Long

“Yes Indeed” came out of a spontaneous writing session in the summer of 2012 while FWR was hanging out with friends Greg Reese (Demographics), and Jared Isabella (Night Moves).  Their only goal was to write a sexy R&B jam and that they did.  In the hands of Producer Ryan Olcott the song took on that silky, sultry sound that only he can conjure.

Sixth Avenue Express have been gathering a lot of momentum recently with their mid tempo, emotionally charged productions striking a note with a larger and larger audience. While they have put out releases across a plethora of labels their home has always been at House of Disco Records and thats where SAE is now releasing their next solo EP titled 'I See'. Full of the clever touches and the warmth you've come to expect from them this EP delivers on every front.

The first, and title, track 'I See' sets the perfect tone, a breezy warm track to seduce to. With a haunting vocal and soft strings coupled with woozy base line its the driving keys that turn this track from a lullaby to confidently invigorating and fresh experience.

Second on the release and most dance floor friendly is 'Clandestine' and like the name suggests is best listened in a secretive and illicit location, like a sweaty basement party. This track is laden with the trademark chords that pepper a lot of Sixth Avenue Express productions but its strength lies in its amazing vocal treatments, which shift and grow to an epic level.

'There's No Time' acts a a decompression chamber after a night out, the perfect after party choice. With enough melody to remain positive but a hint of a dark soul 'There's no time' is as alluring as it is fun.

Finally there's 'My Love is Alive' which is the most joyous and optimistic track to see out the release. It brims with full keys, sustained strings and strong vocals. Ending on a high this tracks message is affirming on two fronts, and affirmation of love and an affirmation of the timeless nature of this release.

"In an odd combination of inspiration and shame, IG88 felt compelled to remix "The Cops" by K. Flay when we found himself relating to the villainous male character in the song. The 25 year old Seattle based producer met K Flay when opening up for her at a show in Washington. They stayed in contact with one another through a series of unconventional tweets and shared music. When IG88 heard "The Cops" he was immediately struck by the the song's passionate content, and resonated with it's strange relevancy to his current situation. He had to put his own twist on it. Aside from applying his signature style of lush soundscapes and hard hitting percussion, IG88 took a field recording inside a busy restaurant and inserted it in the middle of the song to convey the awkward, silent tension between two emotionally exhausted lovers."
