Emilia Sisco's debut album on Timmion Records, "Introducing Emilia Sisco”, takes you on a smooth ride in the world of vintage soul, featuring 10 beautifully crafted original songs written by Sisco in collaboration with the renowned Cold Diamond & Mink band. The album showcases this young talent’s unique ability to blend classic soul influences with contemporary flair, building mesmerizing harmonies by layering her voice, and through these channeling a sound that is both timeless and fresh. From the opening track "Say Yes” – grooving like an independent gospel soul jam that somebody discovered in dank Midwest cellar – to the closing "Secretly," each song is a testament to Sisco's deep connection to the emotional core of soul music.

As one of the album's highlights, "Don't Let Nobody," stands out as a sweet anthem of love and encouragement for your fellow human. It’s been a minute since I last served up a batch of raw breakbeats, but the energy at this year’s IBE event in Holland lit that fire again. A Side Breaks Vol. 2 is a tribute to the global dance community — a selection of B-boy and B-girl–friendly breaks, crafted for cyphers, sessions, battles, and anyone who lives for that moment when the beat drops and your body just moves.
For those who don’t know: B-boy/B-girl breaks are the foundation of breakin’ culture. They’re the drum-heavy, groove-driven sections of funk, soul, and rare groove records that DJs isolate, loop, and extend to create that high-energy pocket dancers feed off. These breaks drive footwork, freezes, power moves, and flow — they’re the heartbeat of the dance.

With Vol. 2, I dug back into some older nuggets, revisiting sounds that shaped generations of breakers. And trust, there’s much more on the way — deeper cuts, fresh flips, and more gems for the floor.

An instrumental original that, as the title teases, has some Arab flare.  The recipe for this cut seems to blend a dash of Cairo Jazz Band with and a pinch of desert-psych funk groove, in turn creating a full, slow-burning groove that is sure to mellow and get heads nodding.

We've set stages ablaze since 2013, so we know a thing or two about “Entertainment”. On the 2nd single from upcoming “Lexplosion II” LP @funkembassyrecords, we reveal our soulful side. The slow-burner is a meditation on our past as well as the showbiz in general. After 7 years of putting on lexplosive shows it feels as though it's time to contemplate. Reflective like the litres of sweat poured during our live gigs, hopefully this will become a staple in your silky smooth soul playlists.

Our 3rd album "Lexplosion II" will be out via Funk Embassy Records on May 29th. The 8-track LP provides fire power for the funk-soul-disco DJ, albeit remaining a pleasure treasure for the leisure listener. First time ever, the 6 piece Estonian group has invited collaborators: the loose-wristed guitar funk icon Cory Wong from US; the Brazilian percussion maestro Luiz Black who’s gigged with James Brown and recorded with gigs on his résumé; and a local dame with staggering licks on the violin - Liis Lutsoja. 

Made available on vinyl, CD and digitally, the record comes with original artwork by Estookin - a painter who did portraits of all the band members in addition to the volcano that couldn't hold them inside for much longer! The records are 180g vinyl, pressed in Estonia; the CD version opens up to form a 3D volcano.
