PSR J1032−5804 is a 10-meter multimedia sculpture functioning as a glitch in reality. It consists of a mass of sharp, torn forms reminiscent of errors and artifacts of digital processing — but existing not on a screen, but in real life.

All of its components — the architectural form, the music, and the visuals on the screens — are built from reprocessed radio signals of a strange neutron star, which rotates rapidly and emits powerful pulsating waves, in which a clear rhythm is combined with chaotic peaks and random noise, as if the very nature of the star is constantly switching between order and malfunction — literally quoting our name broken composers and revealing the essence of our artistic method.

The name of the installation refers to the astronomical coordinates of this pulsar.
It is located in the Milky Way, within a triangle formed by the stars Vega, Deneb, and Altair — the brightest stars in the summer sky of the northern hemisphere.

Echoing this triangle in the sky, the sculpture is constructed from triangular mirrored panels and diagonally divided screens. When the image on them jitters and rhythmically distorts in sync with the sound, we quite literally see how outer space — a completely alien and inhuman environment with its vast scales, pressure, velocities, density, decay, and radiation — breaks into everyday reality, deforming both it and our perception.

Alobhe deliver four blistering cuts of forward thinking club
music.

State Space encapsulates the paranoia and angst felt in an
increasingly polarised world, typified by feelings of helplessness.
The EP spans four sonically diverse pieces, opening with ‘State
Space Conversion’, which introduces Alobhe’s visceral and direct
aesthetic.

While ostensibly lo-fi, tracks such as ‘Numb’ and ‘Reload’ contain
elements of progressive experimentation that challenge the
perception of conventional lo-fi hardware based club music.
Numb’s nauseating warped sample over a solemn distorted
electric guitar dirge epitomises the lack of agency felt whilst
voyeuristically consuming the spectacle of the modern world.
These themes are continued in ‘Reload’, where out of sync drums
and lead loosely give the track shape, implode briefly, and then
reassert themselves, further adding to this sense of unease.
With an enigmatic online presence and little to go by outside of
her moniker, Alobhe has created a jarring fusion of electro, black
metal, techno and sample based experimentation.

@yre_den lands on @decisionsrecords with a hopeful, animated new EP titled ‘Inlight’. Previously Yre Den, who is based in Berlin, has released via labels such as Cologne’s SPA Recordings as well as Magazine.

Today we’re premiering the EP’s title track ‘Inlight’. Naturally, as title or lead tracks often do, it offers the purest taste of Yre Den’s musical intentions as it twists, twirls and quivers as if filled with a springtime-ish renewal of energy and sanguine exuberance. A kind of energy and sanguineness we could all probably do with at the moment, if we're honest.

 And speaking of present day events, Yre Den has decided to direct all profits from the release to the GoFundMe campaign attached below. The campaign  aims to support LGBTQI+ and BIPOC individuals and communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Premiere: Yre Den 'Inlight'

@hadji-hajj is a French artist and composer who recently debuted on the @bfdmrec. He is a co-founder of Dawn, member of Schnell Records, which develops the concept of Dadaism in  music, and host of Souffrance FM on LYL Radio, that is built around contemporary musical movements, from trap to post-internet experimentations and futuristic beats. 

For the Tightmix series, Hajj has prepared a story with "different colors and moods," which combines the soundtrack from anime 'Perfect Sadness' by Masahiro Ikumi, eerie screams from 'Crushed' by Ronce, French hip-hop from Freeze Corleone, grime by Big Shot, jungle from Dom Perignon & Djin and dub by Systemwide - all variety of genres that fully reflect the artist's vision of modern music.

‘JAC’ is a collaborative release by Shanghai based Gooooose and Berlin based DJ Scotch Egg. After meeting for the first time at Nyege Nyege Festival, Uganda, in 2019, SVBKVLT brought Scotch Egg to Shanghai for a one week studio session with Gooooose in Jan 2020, just a couple of weeks before Covid-19 took hold. The result is JAC, a 6 track release, including a track with vocal samples from Swordman Kitala, recorded by Scotch Egg during his residency at the Nyege villa, plus remixes from Slikback and Seven Orbits & TSVI, with artwork by Andy Rolfes and design by Luke Griffiths. Very dengrouse!!
