What an amazing ambience! The reverberant sound is very special. The supporting instrumentation/ tones is ethereal! Awesome work of art.

The Omnibus Ensemble did a good thing there, and what a haunting voice. Appropriately Expressionistic song. I especially like the deep undertone.

A three-track set. The 1st bridges an ambient section into a more upbeat part with a 4x4 kick. The 2nd is dedicated to the ambient section, elaborating on the atmospheric, ethereal vibe. The 3rd is harder, picking up on the 4x4 kick and introducing upbeat arpeggios and big orchestral drums. The 3 tracks allow for flexible use in films, documentaries, or games, whereby the individual tracks can use for anything from a meditation or spa environment to high-action sports or motor car scenes

My first true ambient track. It’s too short, I think, but that I-am-feeling-dreamy-in-the-wellness vibe is definitely there.

Slow patterns of friendly sounds that gently shift from one to the other, creating a soft, rhythmic flow that never really ends.

This piece was written specially for the second edition of the "Omnibus Laboratorium" in Tashkent in August 2006. The piece was inspired by Georg Heym's Berlin I:

Beteerte Fässer rollten von den Schwellen 
Der dunklen Speicher auf die hohen Kähne. 
Die Schlepper zogen an. Des Rauches Mähne 
Hing rußig nieder auf die öligen Wellen. 

Zwei Dampfer kamen mit Musikkapellen. 
Den Schornstein kappten sie am Brückenbogen. 
Rauch, Ruß, Gestank lag auf den schmutzigen Wogen 
Der Gerbereien mit den braunen Fellen. 

In allen Brücken, drunter uns die Zille 
Hindurchgebracht, ertönten die Signale 
Gleichwie in Trommeln wachsend in der Stille. 

Wir ließen los und trieben im Kanale 
An Gärten langsam hin. In dem Idylle 
Sahn wir der Riesenschlote Nachtfanale.

Igor Iofe is a
composer whose musical
paths lead to diverse stylistic destinations. Currently Igor's focus in music is Armenian traditional duduk repertoire which he performs on trumpet. He brings the beauty and warmth of the duduk into his trumpet playing.

At the Conservatorium van Amsterdam he studied with  Wim Hendrickx,Richard Ayres,  Fabio Nieder,Willem Jeths and Jorrit Tamminga. Igor attended masterclasses with Misato Mochizuki, Dmitry Kourliandski, Tristan Murail andTan Dun. His music was performed at the Composers’ Festival Amsterdam (2012 and 2013), Atlas Academy (2010-12),  Looptail XXX and at such venues as De Link, De Duif, Het Bethaniënklooster, Het Veem, STEIM, Muziekgebouw aan 't Ij and CvA in Amsterdam and other cities of the Netherlands. His piece Y+Ywas performed by the Joint Venture Percussion Duo at several venues in the USA and Europe.

Parallel to his Classical Composition studies Igor studied Composing Music for Film with Jurre Haanstra and graduated as a Master in Composing for FIlm at the CvA. During his studies he wrote music for several movies which were shown at the Beeldbuis Filmfestival, Keep an Eye Film Festival, VERS Awards, Cinekid Filmfestival, M2M Filmfestival and Pleinbioscoop Rotterdam.
