WITH A TIGHT NOOSE AROUND THE NECK
OF THEIR DRUGGED MIND
NEARLY SHATTERED
FALL INTO A TRANCE
BY THE RHETORIC
OF THE CONTINUOUSLY TALKING HEADS
ON EVERY TOPIC
THEY TRUSTFULLY HUDDLE IN FLOCKS
THEY START TO BARK LIKE HUNTING DOGS
THEY FOLLOW THOSE TO NOWHERE
AND THIS IS AN ENIGMA
ON WHOM THERE IS NO PLACE TO PUT THE STIGMA
THE LAND OF KINGS
IN A COUNTRY WHERE EVERYONE'S A KING
YOU WON'T HEAR A SINGLE WORD ABOUT DEMOCRACY
IN TERMS
THAT
EVERY PERSON IS THEIR OWN MASTER
NO SERVANTS
THUS
THERE IS NO DEMOS
THE PEOPLE DON'T EXIST AS SUCH

It is obvious to all thinking people that humanity is on the fringe of an abyss, and if we allow the politicians who, with their deadly mistakes in governance, push us to calamity, it will be almost impossible to climb back up. All these mental habits are obsolescent. Likewise, social tinkering and sticking plasters, applied to serious problems, no longer work. We need strategic long term ideation and not just tactical reforms to win votes. We need to reject this post-truth, patriarchal world order that pays lip service to peace, in order to hide its de facto preference for nuclear brinkmanship, wars, international rivalry and conflict. We need to replace these regressive formulas with their opposites: love of life; celebration of human creativity, and faith in the unity of mankind. People who have offered themselves as public servants, are either unable to do more than minor reforms, or actually make matters worse. The current form of government is hopelessly outdated, provoking strife and disharmony. It is living in denial of so many existential threats to our humanity and wellbeing. It is absolutely clear that this kakistocracy has put us on a road to irreversible decline, and without a personal and public aspiration to a higher consciousness, we may never find an off-ramp.
