The Greedy B's are a song writing duo comprising of guitarist/ singer Emrys Baird and lyricist Karnan Nirmalathasan. 

The two met at the famous Greedy Buddha restaurant in Fulham (Karnan runs a dental practice above and Emrys is the house musician) and a friendship and musical partnership was formed over a hot Nepalese curry.

The Greedy B's get there influences from a strain of easy listening music from the '50s and '60s that is based on the lush styles of latter-day swing and big band music. These demos are scaled back and pretty basic. They are jazz tinged tunes
with ideas formulated from exploring the lounge genre.

It's not watered down like Muzak - instead, it occupies the middle ground, appealing to fans of traditional pop as well as jazz lovers.

Many of the songs deal with the topsy turvy world of love from unrequited - Miss Americano, to sacrificial ones such as I've got to Lose, and waiting for a love that never turns up - Bitter Rose, Yes love, good or bad, is the thread running through
all these songs. A universal theme no doubt!
