The adversity doesn’t define the man, the man is defined by how he responds to the adversity. Liam encourages those submerged in existential dread to leverage those traumas for growth, to not succumb to negativity. He knows that darkness informs the light; his light has never shined brighter.

Liam Tracy is aware that there is an abyss of lost souls out there, desperate to find some semblance of connection. Liam also is aware that he’s uniquely positioned to help those emotionally-worn individuals with his musical gift, just as others’ music has been cathartic for him. With “Step It Up,” Liam pays it forward by enlisting harrowing personal anecdotes to give hope to the hopeless, to let them know that they are not alone.

The first single from this year’s A3C Volume 9 comes from Alabama native Clever, who is quickly poised to become a breakout artist in 2020.
