Hello friends! Here is the recording of my very first set at Stereo Montréal

A place that truly feels like (((home))) 

A room that means so much to many of us and that sparks wonders for those who haven't been yet. A space where we can be free, all together. A spaceship that uses vibrations to bend space and time. A temple where music becomes alive.

It was an honour to have the chance to play in this room for 11 hours to the most amazing group of humans. It's been a dream of mine for so many years to have the chance to play there and it's one of most meaningful moments I ever lived. Stars were aligned, the collective energy was truly beautiful and I am happy to be able to share with you the soundtrack of that night. 

Thanks to all the @stereonightclub team for the incredible work to co-create such a sacred space for music. 

A special thanks to Luc for the cosmic visuals during the night.

And thanks to all of you family and friends who joined the journey.

Here is the full Moonclipse set from Ozora Festival's Pumpui stage from the summer of  2022. 
Moonclipse is the surprising outcome of two friends, Avi Shmailov & Omri Sasi, meeting in the studio in the midst of a global pandemic. Avi is the mastermind behind Astrix, a leading figure in the electronic dance music world for 2 decades. While mainly releasing Psytrance Astrix had dabbled in other genres through the years. Last year found him collaborating with Guy J in a chart topping tune, and his track Universo together with Rising Dust is being played by the leading Techno DJs nonstop. Omri is a cross-genre DJ and electronic dance events organizer in Israel for many years, playing and producing a diverse spectrum of musical styles. 
With time on their hands during long lockdowns they decided to explore the world of Melodic Techno & House for fun and Moonclipse was born.

DAYS like NIGHTS 291 - Guestmix by Enamour

This next guest has been a loyal contributor to Oslo’s cultural landscape for some years now, and moulded it to his own imagining. Marius Bø is one half of Accelerationism and cofounder of the UTE collective, whose name has become synonymous with surreptitious forest raves and a label of the same name (UTE.REC), publisher to fellow purveyors of contemporary psychedelic trance like Oprofessionell (UTE’s second mastermind) and Alpha Tracks. Creeping out of the Scandinavian forests that have played host to those painstakingly curated gatherings comes a fearsome sound distinctly his own. His work dovetails futuristic soundscapes and old-school acid distortions to mind altering effect, and posits this guttural psychedelic techno as a result. It’s a trance-permeated amalgam that’s gaining traction everywhere from Basel's Elyisa to Taipei’s Pawnshop and a raft of other venues in any city worth its salt. Bassiani Podcast 204 is an atmospheric two-hour blend of vast and trippy beats, primordial techno with woodland roots, where Marius dives into the deeper facets of his collection.

Berlin-based DJ duo and couple Brax Moody (Munich) and Vamparela (Thessaloniki) have been collaborating together since 2007, either as a DJ duo, in bands, or as remixers and music producers. Merging the rhythm and dynamism of Munich’s hip-hop clubs with the grime and attitude of Thessaloniki’s back-alley indie bars gives an idea of how to categorize Local Suicide: a straight-up energetic fusion of new wave, slow techno, post disco, acid house or as they like to call it “technodisco”.

As DJs they’ve played all over Europe, Asia, North Africa, South America and the US with gigs at Lollapalooza, Melt!, Amsterdam Dance Event, Off Sonar, Berlin Festival and almost every club the German capital has to offer whilst holding down day jobs in the music industry and running one of the top 10 independent music & lifestyle blogs in Germany with 30+ international editors. Rest assured that these two have honed their musical tastes and chops.

Having organized parties, festivals, and moderated radio shows for years, Local Suicide are just as much at ease inside the booth as they are outside. June 2014 saw them release their debut single “We can go everywhere” on Bordello a Parigi alongside remixes from In Flagranti, Richard Rossa and Inigo Vontier. The release has been supported by XLR8R, Thump, DJ Mag, Mixmag, De:Bug amongst many others and We can go everywhere adds a major stone to the duo’s path to major world disco take-over.

“Owl & Wizzle“ which they produced with Rodion in his vintage synth studio in Berlin that features Mz Sunday Luv on vocal duties was released in June 2016 on Multi Culti‘s first Compilation after being premiered on THUMP. It quickly reached the top 30 Beatport Indie/Nu disco Charts and was heading the Juno balearic/downtempo charts for a month. In July 2016 the duo released a remix for Digitalism (also co-produced with Rodion) on PIAS Cooperative. In January 2017 a remix by My Favorite Robot of a track by Rodion & Local Suicide was released on My Favorite Robot Records‘ annual winter compilation which got praised by DJ Mag (7,5/10) and FAZE Mag (9/10) among others.

ZNA 2019... the uttermost festival for pure goa-trance this summer! And they challenged me big time! :) To end the festival, they asked me to play a 4 hour set with futuristic goa-trance! The proof goa-trance is not only repitition of the "old", but leads a wonderful second life! Some more "rules". No music by artists that played on the festival, and because I would play during twilight time and darkness, I chose not to play too melodic/euphoric. Unfortunately, because of the virus that caught so many people, my set was shortened to 2.5 hours only during the event itself, but here you have the full set nevertheless! I was happy a lot of old school lovers came to me to say they were surprised to hear this type of modern goa-trance, and they didn't know it existed. :) Thanks again to Federico & Pedro for this chance and more important, thanks to all the artists and labels that kept goa-trance alive last decade! So, fasten your seatbelts and go on a serious 4 hours trip! :)
