The rain field recording felt inevitable as a starting point—once in place, the chimes followed naturally. Two measures of gentle drones and a few understated piano notes later, and the piece settled into a safe haven. Nothing more felt necessary.

I make music to explore sound and the boundary of what is considered ‘music’ … and I use chance so that, in turn, sound can explore me through the process, as well as, at best, anyone else who listens. 

Perhaps ironically, the SoundCloud algorithm doesn't consider this track 'music' enough to recommend to potentially interested listeners ... so it might actually be worth a listen! 😁😜
