Pink Eyed Blue closes the year with a very special episode. The latest installment in the mixtape series entitled 'Back to Disco Valley ' released by Good Morning Tapes and signed by Full Circle premieres online on the chill channel of radiozora. Although Full Circle is a joint project of Alexis Le-Tan and Joakim, the creator of the material, which has been released only on cassette so far, was the former one. Regarding the importance of the mix, I would like to quote two sentences from Tom Colbrook's wonderful review: "it both recontextualised a dirty and forgotten sound of the past, and facilitated a wave of new freedoms for those wishing to look backwards in order to move forwards. Most importantly it planted the seed for everything Full Circle to come." On closer inspection, Back to Disco Valley is a reinterpretation of late 80's and early 90's trance alongside New Beat and psych nuggets, but there is much more at stake here than a reevaluation of the frenetic, fast-paced sound of Goa-trance. The slowed-down oasis of the selection includes new releases and modern-sounding rarities with purpose. The most accurate wording was given by the duo when the cassette was released. So let their words stand here: Now ten years since its creation and available for the first time: it is at once a genesis but also a reflection upon Trance Body Express as a lived religion, once, now and forever. One point in a Full Circle stands as a stage / a floor from which one can leave, revisit and return to the future. When listening to this we arch back upon an axis of rarities and lost memories, folding moments & bridging experiences.

This is the PRANA album "Sense of Unity" Teaser Mix by TSUYOSHI SUZUKI. Tsuyoshi Suzuki is an internationally acclaimed DJ and producer and is based in Tokyo. At the forefront of the psychedelic trance movement for a quarter of a century, Tsuyoshi continues to thrill audiences around the world with his uniquely focused mixing style and psychedelic music selection. One of Tsuyoshi's projects, PRANA, the Goa trance band that stormed the music scene in the 90s, are back with their first new album in three decades, Sense of Unity. Over the past few years, Nick, Andy and Tsuyoshi have been composing tracks to release a new album together for the first time since the band formed in the 1990s. The first step in the reunion and 30th anniversary project was the release of a 2-disc vinyl set at the end of December last year, followed by a CD of remixes from some of the best producers in the business. The themes were not exhausted. The Prana Mix by Tsuyoshi, which will be released with the digital version in March 2024, should be listened to as a teaser for the digital version.
