Makedon is a North American electronic musician of Russian descent. He brings the Balkan brass orchestra to the NW festival culture. His dj sets, flawlessly fusing the wild Romani energy with the big phat techno beats, have filled dance floors with joyous revelers.  He envisioned and defined a new musical style he jokingly dubbed Gypsoteka, producing a massive library of remixes and mush ups of gypsy tracks.  Most of the tracks rocked the dancefloors, with a few rocketing Beatport charts.  Makedon soon formed an alliance with Seattle's premier underground electronic music and community instigator -- Live'N'Love.  Makedon's international debut occurred when his remixes were included in a compilation by Jawala Records in Germany.  All that aside, his main passion remains to cause the big onions to shake on the dancefloors worldwide.
