In the realm of psychedelic indie music, where genres collide and boundaries blur, the Netherlands-based quartet Mo Bedick emerges as a captivating force. Inspired by the giants of shoegaze, psychedelic rock, hip hop, and future jazz, Mo Bedick weaves unexpected and complex sonic narratives that hypnotise audiences with enchanting melodies. Their music is a journey, much like life itself, where deadly rhythms and razor-sharp riffs can unexpectedly crush the dreamy state of being in a heartbeat.
Kicking off 2024 with a sonic spectacle, Mo Bedick introduces the shoegaze synth-pop anthem 'Cemetery Caretaker'. Taken from their debut album ‘Whirligig’ released on March 15th through Dutch label Geertruida and on vinyl, the track encapsulates the essence of this band, opening with an enthralling intro and cascading into thrashing, layered chorus guitars that construct a beautiful wall of sound.
