
The Rap duo formally known as FRESH 2 DEF who now currently goes by DAIWAO branching out of Detroit was formed in 2008 by Kevin Walker(KevForPrez) and William Barney(Kosta). The two met while working in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area where both were attending school. Unknown to each of them at the time was the musical talents lurking within. One week, Kevin came across some music gear which he wanted to try out and record with. After recording, he realized he manifested a natural talent or gift for producing. Known to him that Will rapped, he suggested Will come by his place and record sometimes. Will obliged and this was the beginning of Fresh 2 Def. Kevin then began working towards a better sound to perfect their craft and thus became the start of Galactic Creations Productions which hosts a sound that is out of this world! Working by day and grinding by night Will and Kevin strive for success in the music industry and have progressed very rapidly in a very short amount of time. They have performed places such as the Ann Arbor African American Festival, Chene Park, Eastern Michigan University, and the University of Michigan just to name a few. They have been featured on numerous mix tapes such as DJBJ3525 Pay Attention Vol. 3 and DJ ASAP Gang “Paper Chasers Vol. 6” Set to have an album release in 2013, DAIWAO has made their presence known in the world of music, and continually strives to expand. DAIWAO is on a never-ending journey for discovery and success but ugh... "You Already Know!!!"
