Two who can't be fazed by anything and two for whom a crazy audience is the measure of all things. They have been playing music for 24 years and have been resident DJs at Helgas Stadtpalast Rostock since 2012. Addicted to vinyl and far from following every trend, they impress with their incredible coolness. They are at home between techno and house and blessed with the talent to awaken memories with the right classic at the right time. If techno were a subject, Emmrich would be the lecturer and if the party were an apartment, Ms. Voelker would open the door.

…Ein Vogel kommt selten allein…

Ende 2015 war es – als Daniel Ledwa, Karl Kirschmayer und Florian Neubauer – ihres Zeichens DJs, Musiker, Traumtänzer, Katzenliebhaber, Früh-ins-Bettgeher und Profiradsportler – nach einer nächtlichen Invasion vogelgestalt-ähnlicher Kreaturen und der gemeinsamen Verhinderung der kompletten Versklavung der Weltbevölkerung, einzig und allein mit ihren ausufernden DJ Sets trotzten – und seit jeher dieses prägende Erlebnis als Geburtsstunde ihres gemeinsamen Projektes — Vögel(n) mit Freunden — datieren.

Wie viel von dieser überbrachten Story stimmt, sei mal dahingestellt. Fakt ist jedoch, dass VmF heute nicht nur Clubevent und Label vereint – sondern Menschen unterschiedlichster Charaktere und Interessen zusammengeführt hat um etwas ganz verrücktes geschehen zu lassen.
