Mute est un collectif parisien fondé en 2019 (initialement sous le nom "Emulation Seine") par Jaag, Mhoax et 4000 Hz. Les travaux du collectif sont orientés techno cinématique, EBM et industrielle, ce qui les a amenés à croiser le fer avec d'autres organisations évoluant sur cette scène en pointe, dont Ultracks ou très récemment Demian Records avec Cvnsumed et Znzl, mais encore des valeurs montantes comme Ey.Rah, Catartsis, Ombrar, LASK, Malwere, Hyden ou Esilise. Mute s'inscrit pleinement dans la mouvance récente qui ramène une âme, une structure et une narration dans la techno industrielle, loin des paillettes agitées et des outrances "hard techno".

4. Altinbas - Seele

Rill is a DJ and producer from Berlin, Germany, and the co-head of the label Syntop. With several releases, he continues to showcase his production skills. His sound is best described as timeless techno soundscapes enriched with creative sound design. 

Drawing inspiration from early 2010s techno, Rill’s track selection blends atmospheric, percussive, and groovy elements. His moderate yet precise use of synths and FX adds depth, resulting in an overall hypnotic and immersive experience.

Up next, we are pleased to present another familiar face, Dani De Lara!  

Dani is an emerging DJ in the London scene having moved here from Spain. His Midweek Session party started as a weekly gathering of friends in his flat, but has quickly grown into staple party in a lot of people's calendars in venues such as Peckham Audio, Venue MOT and Carpet Shop. He shares a similar vision to us in terms of creating a platform for local artists and forming a community around the music so we are more than happy to have him as a part of the Fragment mix series. 

His style is hard to pin down as he can play a broad range of sounds ranging from techno, to hard groove, to house. He would describe himself as a hard groove enthusiast but for this mix, he delivers his interpretation of the Fragment sound whilst staying true to his own style.

Greek-born and Berlin-based, producer and DJ AgainstMe is a resident at SMUT Athens and a co-founder of the SOCIETY 3000 collective. His project is rooted in the ongoing quest to connect with one's inner voice. For him, techno — characterized by hypnotic melodies, pounding drum patterns, and a ritualistic intensity — offered a revolutionary and unifying sound that sharply contrasted with everything he had known before.

Since discovering his passion for techno in 2014 at just 16 years old, his sound has steadily evolved, and his releases have gained international recognition. His DJ sets, much like his productions, weave together driving rhythms and atmospheric textures, creating immersive experiences that captivate audiences around the globe.
