After a string of acclaimed releases on Token and a selection of remixes, Ø [Phase] released his debut album 'Frames Of Reference' on Token last fall. It earned him outstanding reviews at Resident Advisor ("a display of real power and finesse" 4/5), in DJmag ("a calculated masterpiece" 9,5/10), at XLR8R ("sticks out as an alternate route to the heart of machine music's appeal" 8/10), Groove Magazine ("pulsating techno in which every sonic details fits") and more.

Following the first single “On The Edge / Perplexed” & the second single “Dirtro II” (including the stellar ‘New Device Remix’ by Robert Hood), we now present you the last segment of the series with 2 remixes. On the A-side Rødhåd delivers an epic 10 minute interpretation of the first single ‘Perplexed’, while Robert Hood delivers a second, more minimalistic take on “Dirtro II” for the flip.

It's Boys Noize and after his sterling 'Go Hard' EP dropped last year we are now presented with a mammoth set of remixes. Always guaranteed to get the cream of the dance music crop on editing duty, Ridha has enlisted the likes of Aden, Salva, Club Cheval, Bounce and Juyen Sebulba to chop up his well-crafted productions.

Today we premiere the Pilo remix of 'Excuse Me' and the Boys Noize Records regular has nicely raised the tone with sidewinding synths and explosive drops. There's some slick vocal cuts and beautiful builds, making this a remix that no doubt has the full seal of approval from the Noize.

Austrian label @Drowne Records are on the verge of their new release next week. Ran by Altberg & Tony Vegazz, they have a great underground ethos featuring artists like Sutter Cane, Chris Colburn, XHEI to Krenzlin and many more.

The latest “Textures EP” from DT favourite @RicardoGardunoMusic who we featured recently, gets the remix treatment from Netherlands based rising star and Affin stalwart, @KeithCarnal.

The track itself gets a stomping and slightly more melody driven twist, with sparse atmospherics that create a dreamy ambience. Slowly building tension and a euphoric edge take hold, with subtle soundscapes and hidden details, this can work in many stages of a DJ set and was our choice for this “DT:Premiere.”

Auden’s third EP sees the shadowy producer stride familiar lengths of eclecticism while dipping into fresh sources of inspiration.
The title track yearns for the glory days of UK Rave with its sunrise chords overlaying broken beats and drops of acid. The homage is all but shorn on Alan Fitzpatrick’s remix as he contemporises it into a techno bomb with a breakdown to remember. Flexing typical versatility, ‘Simmer Down’ provides the counterpoint with rolls, bounces and jacks in equal measure while ‘Sewer System’ rounds off the EP in a blissed-out discordant ambience.

Australian juggernaut Darknet is readying it’s next standout vinyl and digital release that has already been played by Samuli Kemppi and Dave Clarke, marking some fine early support.

The latest EP named “Confusion” from the superb @D-Leria calls on assistance and extra fire power from Alex Bau, Stanislav Tolkachev and Pinion.

The track we selected for this DT:Premiere is by the unique Ukranian @StanislavTolkachev, who we strongly advise you check out and journey into his world, as a bit of obscurity and left field style is a winner in our book. Where as to many this may not be an obvious choice per say, but no doubt his remix will pick up great appreciation for it’s rarity and abstract nature.

Here they deliver two dark dance floor burners for their latest release! 

Title track Fractious kicks off the release and fires out an electrifying synth hook, giving the track an instant percussive element, backed by simple and effect drums that keep a steady groove. Slam's experience of production shines through on this as each refined component glides seamlessly together to produce a powerful, pulsating track. 

Serpent takes an even darker route with a subtly evolving 303 baseline that lurks menacingly in the background allowing edgy variants to ebb their way in slowly, adding to the already tense vibe created throughout. A perfect DJ tool for those surreal moments. 

As Slam & Soma build toward their 25th year, the duo show why they have been at the forefront of Techno with this expertly produced and dynamic release.
