Made in collaboration with Mike Diamond. We started this one in LA, on a day where we only had a few hours to come up with something. Time was against us but we had this loop ready to go, Mike (Diamonds) added beats and started chopping things up in a couple of hours. Just as a last touch we decided to add some special Digitalism distortion (yes we know, you'll be asking, what is this? But it's like a good batter, the only way to find out is to taste it). And then we got this!!! Like the other two tracks it has become a staple in our sets.

The 'Lift EP' will be pre-released for DJ's August 23rd courtesy of Beatport and then available world wide from September 23rd.

The opening track ‘Lift,' a collaboration with The M Machine, is a rhythmic melodic classic, layering synths with diced vocal samples a plenty to give this track an undeniable and upbeat, dance anthem feel. The collaboration came from a remix exchange; "We came up with the idea of making a lot of samples that we just throw into one big pot together. That's why 'Lift' sounds so chopped up when it comes to vocals. It was fun to make and it's always a highlight in our DJ-sets."

Lift Feat.The M Machine

Digitalism are pleased to present two exclusive tracks to download, listen and share, lovingly packaged as a 'Xmas Transmission.' This packages comes replete with two absolute bangers; the first a Digitalism remix of Mø's 'Pilgrim,' which has been a staple in their DJ set's since the start of the year when the band approached this acclaimed Danish artist who has been building a strong international profile throughout the year. The second track on this package is a specially commissioned remix of 'Dudalism' by Scottish whizz-KidGrum, who's productions have been destroying dance floors in 2013 and burning the radio waves of BBC Radio 1. MØ - 'Pilgrim' (Digitalism Remix)

'Wolves’ will be the 1st single from Digitalism that puts the band in a very different place to anything previously released. The last communication from Digitalism marked the beginning of this new direction in the form of a Soundcloud-Only release at the start of 2014. This statement of intent will not relent; 2014 will be The Year of surprises for Digitalism fans, with ‘Wolves’ being the first official release to subscribe to it.

For many fans ‘Wolves’ might seem long over-due, having premiered as the opening track of their Boiler Room DJ set during !Melt Festival, 2013. Since then the band kept an eye on their Socials and the comments, watching the fan-bases’ curiosity naturally grow. The 2nd time ‘Wolves’ was unleashed was once more a opening track for their much-lauded ‘I Love Techno’ DJ Set in December 2013. This time it caused a flurry of fan-driven YouTube videos, since which, each time the band post a new DJ set or link to previous ones, fans ask over again for the release of ‘Wolves.’

Well we are finally prepared to let it go. Why? Again we come to the new direction the band have entered, their music at the heart of it. The first months of 2014 were spent writing in LA and producing new music, road testing demos and ideas at their Twice Monthly East-LA Warehouse parties. The reaction to these shows was incredible, with each of the 4 dates selling-out way in advance, but still queues around the bloc on the nights. In fact the reaction on one date was catastrophic, receiving a Police enforced shut-down with a small army and not one, but two helicopters. Sorry Tax Payers! Since these dates the excitement has been infectious and the results have finally convinced Digitalism that they have a raft of releases to get-out between now and the start of 2015. So let’s go…
