Dameitry Ja’Quan Haskins aka Jay-Q is a hip hop artist out of South Central, Virginia. Jay-Q was born in Lynchburg, Virginia. During his adolescent years his family lived in and around the Commonwealth of Virginia. While his roots run through the streets of Pamplin, Madison Heights, Concord, and Rustburg, Lynchburg, VA is where he calls home. It was at a young age when Jay-Q realized he had to go get things on his own, and being left to fend for himself left Jay-Q exposed to the streets and he began to indulge in the lifestyles that many wouldn’t comprehend for someone who had not yet reach puberty. Fortunately there was a silver lining that came along with his early life experiences in that it opened his mentality to adapting to new environments and situations. Jay-Q always noted himself to being different than his peers, somewhat of a trend setter and was not afraid to stand out and create his own lane. When Jay-Q began his high school career at Rustburg High it was here where he figured out he wanted to become an artist and it was the love of music during this time that made him realize that he wanted to pursue a career in music. Jay-Q decided to link up with fellow classmates to start his crew the, Y-R Boyz. Jay-Q invested in his first recording equipment and started recording and releasing his own mixtapes under his own imprint 4Eva TRiLL. Jay-Q then decided it was time to go solo and released the mixtape, ‘Election Day’ which was his official introduction to the industry. February of 2015 Jay-Q survived being shot in the face and to this day still has the bullet lodged in his skull. With that near loss of his life and knowing that his talents were being recognized locally, Kay’O Musik LLC signed Jay-Q March of 2015. After taking time to really perfect his craft and truly find his sound Jay-Q has now released his first EP titled ‘5150’. The EP showcases Jay-Q’s ability to delivery witty punch-lines, potent melodies all the while getting the party turned up. Jay-Q is ready to represent for Virginia and the entire DMV.

SOCO Beats, is a 24 year old Music Producer from the city of High Point, North Carolina. He also attends to Full Sail University, for his Music Production Bachelors of Science degree. Here to bring the world a unique sound of Hip Hop, Old School, R&B and Reggae instrumentals. He has also worked with upcoming artist such as, Rass Nature, Reek Tha Boss and many others!
