MC Radio Active's musical journey has brought him across the globe from large stages, performing with internationally touring musical artists to the backstage alleys, free-styling with the locals. His influences are simplistic, "Both Hip Hop and the street were crucial in my music development, and the street provided a large impact on my music and all outlets of my creative expression. The raw emotion and honesty of the street reveals itself without regret. Seeing other kids rapping, seeing what they feel, inspires me." 
He is an emcee, free styler, beat boxer, Song Writer, Visual Artist of Many types, Poet, and B-Boy. He sometimes plays musical instruments like Pan flutes or a Didgeridoo, as well as incorporates electronic beats with his beatbox and commands active audience participation during his fresh, soulful original live performances. That are located in various Types of Venues, like clubs, House parties, Weddings, Birthdays, Holiday Celebrations, sitting in with some of your Favorite Bands Big and small alike. Festivals, Street Corners, alleyways, even at your roommate’s after party, amphitheaters, coffee shops, Resorts and yes even at the Spa! When you see him perform you will get the picture. The Hardest thing is explaining all the things he has done and is capable of doing with his voice... 
Innovative to the industry, Radio Active brings Hip Hop into other genres, a true integrating artist. An electrifying performer, Aside From Blazing mics all over the Northeast with one of his first Bands called Politics of Experience, Radio Active has toured the Earth extensively the past years, first throughout North America with New Orleans band Galactic, Sharing the Set Breaks of Phil and Friends Tour with a man named Keller Wiliams, then to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. As a Former key member of the "then Politically charged musical group Michael Franti & Spearhead" to audiences in theaters and festivals upwards of 100,000 people and appearing on national television programs such as David Letterman, Craig Kilborne and on MTV with the critically acclaimed single/video "Rock The Nation,” even recieving 2 Gold Records for His Lyrics and works with Spearhead. Along the years, sitting in and or opening, (with others and also his Solo Show) he's shared the stage with artists such as Ani DiFranco, Common, Indigo Girls, KRS-One, String Cheese Incident, Roy Ayers, Talib Kweli, O.A.R., Karl Denson, Ben Harper, Keller Williams, Trey Anastasio, Jeru The Damaja, DJ Apollo, Jonah Sharp and Meshell N'Degeocello, the Motet, Critters Buggin, Mctuff, Crown City Rockers, Lettuce, Soulive, Bassnectar, Rusted Root, Keaton Simons, Trevor Hall, Tyrone Wells, 420 funk Mob with George Clinton, The Broun fellinis with Bernie Warrell, Zap Mama, Les Nubians, Victor Essiet, J-Boogie, Kool Kieth, Das EF/X, just to Name a Few. 
Radio has been hired as a Ghostwriter for many Artist and been flown in to work in the Studio with non other than Music Legends- Sly and Robbie on more than one occasion! 
Radio continues to expand his global musical journey and states, "I am looking forward to a continued pursuit of music experience, now grounded with an international perspective. I will stay active, learn and teach Hip Hop."

RADIOACTIVE was the recipient of the 2012 Best of the Bay Award for Best Hip Hop in the North Bay (by popular elect). 
Also Voted 2014 Best of the Bay Award for Best Hip Hop/Electronic Band in the North Bay (by popular elect). 
His Project called FLOWERBOX also was the recipient of the 2014 Best of the Bay Award for Best Folk/ Acoustic Band
