SANIL FENICE discovered his passion for music in his early years as guitar player in a metal band. He got into electronic music shortly after that time. After getting the necessary equipment he started with producing his own techno tracks. Sanil ́s tracks provide a kind of Minimal Techno/Tech House feeling that you can check out in his live sets. With his first release on Karmaloft Music Sanil comes up with a deep mix of beatific balearic grooves, searing sunshine vocals (sung by Liz), and irresistible rhythms. The story behind the song. Chris says: "It started as a demo for an album with Kami for EMI in 2001, after we had a hit with the remake of "Sehnsucht", a song from a german band called "Purple Schulz". The album couldn't be realized for several reasons but I continued to work on the track in my studio in Ibiza together with Gary Jones and Miss Luna. We added some beats, scratches, strings and voices. After a few days we had a massive ethno track with a mystical atmosphere. The song is a metaphor of everyones journey through life, coming into awareness. It was released on "A Night @ Buddha Bar Hotel" by Ravin and we also played it live with "Sunyata Project". "The Buddha is the one whose eyes of full consciousness has opened...".
From Ibiza, Chris Le Blanc’s skillful blend of electronic and acoustic chill creates a musical cocktail of spiritual and sensual enlightenment!
Le Blanc's compositions mirror the beauty of the island itself and not the party scenes and major events. Instead the album reflects the contemplative moods and moments of the not so well-known quiet and original side of Ibiza that go into his music. His skillful blend of electronic and acoustic instruments are a cocktail that captures these magical moments. For years this mixture has made Chris Le Blanc a highly respected artist whose songs on countless high-profile lounge and chillout compilations such as Cafe Del Mar, Buddha Bar, etc. are to be heard around the globe.
