Riding high on a prolific wave of output, Kloke returns to Mindgames with Lucidity — an album that confirms his position at the forefront of modern jungle.

Andy Donnelly has been actively releasing a broad swathe of electronic music since the late 00s, but it's his sharpened focus on jungle and drum & bass over the past 10 years that has cemented his reputation. As well as working closely with fellow scene leaders like Tim Reaper, the Australia based artist has hit a flow state with his productions where the quality and quantity seems limitless. Since Mindgames started as a Samurai Music sub-label, Kloke has been a core part of the imprint's identity. Having already dropped the Mindgame 8 EP earlier this year, Donnelly is back with a full-length salvo of advanced jungle heavy on the technicalities and even heavier on the vibes.

Gritty, raw and true to the roots of the culture, Kloke stands tall on Lucidity. It's the kind of detailed, deep and deadly album that shows jungle at its absolute best — a sound that still feels like the future in the right hands.

Venera shares ‘Tear’, the first single of the upcoming album ‘Exinfinite’ out via PAN on September 12th, 2025.

Having defined a multi-dimensional sonic universe on their acclaimed eponymous debut album, composer/filmmaker Chris Hunt and Korn’s James “Munky” Shaffer abandon the familiar and drift towards a kingdom of recursion on EXINFINITE, staring down a tangled mass of mirrored wormholes that hum with eldritch ambiguity.

On ‘Tear’, the duo’s new direction can be heard clearly as Shaffer’s primal guitar noises are reformed into eerie widescreen expositions that Hunt punctuates with pneumatic kick and snare cycles. Broken up by airlock hisses and luminous synths, the track proposes a backdrop that VENERA continuously transmute, reforging the concept as the album develops.

Venera - Tear (PAN 153S1)

The duo Corporation, formed by Racine (Julien Racine) and Keru Not Ever (Justin Leduc-Frenette), have been linking contemporary electronic music with the brute practices of electro-acoustic and plunderphonic music for several years. This - as patent in their respective works as in their debut album, Graffito (2019 [Genot Centre]) - results in hallucinatory music based on collage, superposition, repetition, synthesis and field-recording. It is composed as an acousmatic theater of sound artifacts without actors.

They are now returning with their sophomore album, Tableaux du doute, a work of sound investigations, traces, clues and alibis collected between 2021 and 2024. Drawing motifs and samples from the soundtracks of neo-noir films and detective movies of the 1990s and 2000s (Miami Vice, L.A. Confidential, Scoop, etc.) the pieces are composed as small tableaux, scenes of obsessive (dis)appearances and ordinary conspiracies, whose curtains hide underhand thefts and repeated treacheries. Every piece insists on and repeats the motives of doubt - before the revelation of a crime - whether felted by the lyrical eroticism of violins or the oblique coldness of FM synthesis.

The album can be listened as both a fanfiction-turned-mixtape and a musical études of investigative tropes - an empty object whose mystery is entirely produced by the artificial surface of seductive sounds.

Moa Pillar is a Russian-born, London-based DJ and artist creating deconstructed trance and hard drum music. With a prolific output over the last 15 years, Moa’s work blends Techno, Trance, IDM, and experimental sound design, forming a body of work both diverse and intertwined in nature. The diversity of their influences is perhaps best splayed in their DJ practice, where Moa pulls from noise music, experimental club and classic trance, blending a multitude of genres in order to find the spaces in between. Moa has played a countless number of shows across Europe over the past 15 years, with highlights including appearances at legendary festivals Unsound and CTM, and will play at Trauma Unit in London on January 9th.

For this mix, Moa focuses on emotion, borrowing turbulent soundscapes from artists such as Dis Fig and bod[包家巷] to contrast heavy, cathartic club tracks, including unreleased work of his own.
