I began this track in 2024 and it encapsulated a whole bunch of moods for me; moods that are contained within despite some of the shit swimming in the world around us. It has a positive, hopeful vibe in it and it represents a journey of the sounds that are inside of me. Playful with a hint of attitude.

My concern for the environment has been with me for a long time. This came about from a recording project one winter when I lived in a small cabin with a sink and woodstove. Read something about more human-caused demise of whales. Recorded in the mid-1980s on a Tascam 4-track cassette machine as a demo. Thanks to Bruce Simpson for the equipment loan.
