As we navigate life, we inevitably enter uncharted territory. Our journeys lead to us foreign lands dotted with unfamiliar terrain and strange faces. As we transition from the familiar to the unknown, comfort and confidence give way to discomfort and doubt as our previously held views about ourselves and the world are challenged in these novel environments. If we possess the courage to take those first uneasy steps into unfamiliar lands, and if we are willing to face the challenges that await us there, something remarkable happens. We discover new qualities and strengths within ourselves, and we uncover new wisdoms contained within the world that were previously hidden from us.

Regardless of where our adventures lead us, we are all capable of experiencing this profound growth as we explore uncharted territory. We realize that the adventure—and the change it inspires within us—is the real treasure. This album is a reflection and testament to my journey through uncharted territory and the treasure that I found therein. Thanks for joining me as I recount my adventures into the unknown.
