I'd say I became a true Lover and listener of music in 1992...I LOVE IT ALL!!!...Breaks, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Techno, Dubstep, House, Garage, Bass, Minimal, Psychedelic, Ambient, Hip hop, Soul, Funk, Dub, Reggae, Rock!...It all stirs different emotions! as long as it's intelligent, creative, heartfelt,Deep, funky, Wobbly, Skanky, Bassy, Heavy, Trippy, Dark, Moody,Tribal, Progressive, Techy and a true expression from its creator i will listen to it and who knows maybe i will buy it, Spin it, get down to it and if iv'e got that far i will most definitely love it!

I fell in love with DnB / Jungle music in 1997 while discovering the sounds of V , Full Cycle, Metalheadz, Moving Shadow, Good Looking, Playaz, Prototype and RAM. 

After a few nights out to experience sets by DJ Storm, Optical, Krust, DJ Shadow, Daft Punk and DJ Krush, the obsession with mixing took root. At the time I was also a freshly trained radio host. It seemed natural to start bringing the two passions together and in the early 2000s I produced and hosted the DnB radio show Forward Fast on Montreal's CISM radio, staying on the pulse of the movement and the evolution of the sound. Life then led me in different directions but lockdown brought me back to the jungle. 

I started the Bassrubs mixtapes in April 2020, a series of studio sets blending various flavours of Drum & Bass, Jungle and bass-heavy beats.
