Magniphi is a dynamic DJ project based in Montreal, spearheaded by Lorenzo Sosa-Rey.

This project is at the forefront of deep and heavy Dubstep, fearless in pushing the boundaries of innovation across various global scenes, from London and Bristol to Berlin, Los Angeles, Montreal, São Paulo, Tokyo, and Mexico City.

With a commitment to original sound system culture and underground bass music, Magniphi expertly blends a myriad of influences, including Drum and Bass, deconstructed Techno, Jungle, UKG, 4/4, Baile, Trap, Experimental, and Ambient styles. 

Each set is a treasure trove of tracks, seamlessly weaving together classic gems from the early days of electronic music with the freshest releases, creating immersive sonic universes that promise a unique and transformative experience.

Leveraging a background in technical special effects for film, Lorenzo harnesses his technical expertise to elevate his performance on the decks, delivering a powerful and captivating experience that resonates with audiences every time.
