This is a list of deejays with continuous Psy Trance mixes, who have either lived and performed in or are still living in China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. They maybe either local or foreign (or both!). 

The mixes maybe posted to the deejay's own account or on others. They are listed in alphabetical order according to the deejays name so the title of the mix may seemingly be out of order at first glance, but is actually not so. (If there are any mistakes please let me know!)

In cases where deejays have multiple mixes to consider, play count comes first, when play counts are nearly the same the latest mix is chosen. Some deejays have two mixes listed, this because I find listing two is important due to the source of the mix being equally as significant. For example, when a deejay has a very high play count on an account that is not their own. Second listings are listed again at the bottom of the list.

My list of Taiwan deejay mixes will be much less comprehensive. It has been made through an aggregate of a few direct contacts, my recent exploration into Dark Psy music artists in the region, and Facebook event searches and searches here on SoundCloud. Please tell me if I have missed anyone!

I have been involved behind the scenes in the Psytrance scene for quite some time. First working for Flying Rhino back in 2001 and then for TIP for quite a long time for around 7 years.
Since 2009 I’ve been in Beijing helping to kick off the scene here in China by throwing parties and launching a record label under the name GoaProductions.
Its a great time to be involved in the scene here as everything is new and fresh.
I thought it was about time that i put out some of my own music for people to check out and so here we have my project “Atoned Splendor” which is an anagram of my name.

Cosma is Avihen Livne, born 1979, from Kiryat Bialik near Haifa, Israel. Avihen started his musical way in the dark clubs of Haifa and the area, listening to new wave and more electronic stuff: Depech Mode, Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, Front 242 etc... "Then trance arrived" (95), he said, and put some consciousness between everybody's feet and brain. That affected him as well, and after years of parties he started to make music in 1998, as he has been into computers since he was very young, making music with the computer was natural to him.

He worked first with Benny Risher as Diablo. They released one Album in 1999 - 'Insufficient Memory'. In 2000 Avihen started to work under the name Cosma (suggested by DJ Jorg of SST). Avihen said a lot has changed since in the way he grasped music and in the making of it. Part of it was thanks to working together with other artists like Ido Ophir (Domestic) and Erez Aizen (Infected Mushroom) who helped him alot to develop and grow up. "It's very helpful to learn the way another mind operates and to see a different Wayof working ". He released quite a few tracks on compilations and in September 2001 Avihen released his debut solo album 'Simplicity'. This album was considered a milestone release in every aspect as Avihen found a new formula of Israeli trance that swept the world off its feet. He took the direction of trance into a broader perspective; "Simplicity" was characterized by a big clear quality sound cruising through a deeper vibe, taking in funky beat, progressive, electronics and ambience while sounding fresh all the way.

"If you were in the right mood, "Simplicity" could be a religious experience" (DJ magazine).

After the release of this album, Cosma became an established name and he performed live all around the globe. Avihen moved on to signing his new album, "Nonstop", to the Israeli label HOMmega. In this album he swept many influences which made 'Nonstop' a juicy and innovative journey into trance. Dark and pounding, not for lightweights, Cosma's music rocks your core without beating your brains out, all while keeping his famous trademark - his unique cosmic atmosphere.

Avihen was about to release his 2nd album, "Nonstop", on March 2003. Following the album's release, he was scheduled for a massive world tour and in order to prepare himself for this exciting stage of his musical career,he decided to take some time off in Goa, India. On February 10th, while driving back from Palulim beach to his hotel, he was involved in a motorcycle accident. He was hospitalized, but despite all medical efforts, he passed away.

He was a special person, a good friend and a talented musician who was loved by all. A person who had so much in him that he could give so much to others with his music that was played, heard and hailed worldwide.

His music is his legacy. Remember him forever!

“第三浪”来自香港。这个名字取自未来主义作家阿尔文·托夫勒的一本书的书名。他在书中预言了当今世界正在发生的变化。这本书早在1980年就已出版，书中托夫勒描述了人类如何经历了两次重大的转变：农业和工业革命，而我们现在正处于第三个转变之中：通讯革命。
几经轮回，第三浪最喜欢的风格还是经典的1990年代后期的Goa-Trance。可能你会听到他放标准的Fullon和Progressive更多一些。但不要让自己这么简单就为他分了类，或以为你听到的已经是全部了！他喜欢收罗多样化的声音：PsyBreaks、The Delta 的 tech-trance风格这些声音都被遗忘许久，而第三浪想将它们重现舞池！

The name Third Wave comes from the book by futurist writer Alvin Toffler. In it he predicts the changes the world is going through today. Published way back in 1980, he tells of how humans have experienced two major changes, the agricultural and industrial revolution, and that we are now in the third: The Communication Revolution.
