French composer Worakls finds his way back to the Hungry Music imprint, after recently releasing the “Adagio For Square” smash hit on Pete Tong’s FFRR Records. Worakls is currently breaking new ground with his trademark sound - fusing live musical elements with cutting edge electronic music production skills. His latest adventure is named “Question Réponse”, a dramatic piece of modern dance music, featuring blaring horns, an incredible romantic string section as well as arpeggiated synth layers to provide enormous drive. The thick rolling bassline and thumping groove glue together this masterpiece in perfect style. 

On the flip side resides the equally breathtaking “From Now On” piece. Worakls focuses on a marching & moody feel, before breaking the track down, to only feature the gorgeously crafted strings and horns. Omveda Records introduces Portugese producer Renato Moreira a.k.a. LAB.

Renato Moreira was born in 1984 in Lisbon, Portugal. Starting his route in the electronic music field in 1998, he begun to gain a taste for computorized production in that same year using Rebirth 1.0.
Evolving in 2000 into the use of hosts like FL Studio, Cakewalk Sonar, Ableton Live and more recently to Cubase 5, he first had experiences in genres of electronic like breakbeat,downtempo and house, before turning to the more dark path of psychedelic trance in his selftitled project LAB, influenced by the upcoming wave of russian sounds. LAB..s music is based on fast passed and groove full beats, inducing futuristic ambiences and breaks, featuring powerful mental twisting leads!

In the last 6 years, LAB has performed Live Acts and DJ Sets all over the world, in festivals and parties located in places like: Everywhere, Portugal; Warsaw and Gdynia, Poland; Stockolm, Sweden; Prague, Czech Republic; Gent and Antwerp, Belgium; Innsbruck, Austria; New York, USA; Austin, Texas, USA; San José, Costa Rica.

LAB has cooperated in many production projects (new tracks and remixes) from and with artists such as Ocelot, Simian, Zik, Orestis, Claw , CPC, Mubali, Gu, Twisted Kala, Kiryiama, Malice in Wonderland, Mania-X and Illow .
Numerous releases have also been out in the last years in compilations in CD format, 2 Digital EP’s and one Full Length album called “Roleplayers”, with labels such as: No Comment Records, En Sof, D-A-R-K, Darklife Records, Deviant Force Records, MoonStation Records, Triplag, Golden Dawn Records, 5th Element Records, 6362 Metaforce, Dead of Night Records

Currently, LAB is straight cooperation with the labels No Comment Records from Poland, Devilsmind Records from Sweden, Quest4goa from Portugal and Deviant Force Records based in Munich, Germany.
Recently, LAB has finished compiling the CD “VA: Laboratorium” for No Comment Records, containing 10 unreleased tracks of many new and old artists in the Psytrance scene.

In parallel, LAB is producing Downtempo, Breaks and Progressive with a new project called Unikorp, wich will also release the first digital EP in September 2011 for the french label Pyratrance Records.

Hungry Music returns with a fantastic release from Worakls. It features the epic “Nocturne” composition that showcases Worakls’ incredible fines of building musical tension with cutting edge drum sequences, and beautiful classical textures.

Over the course of more than nine minutes Worakls layers up diving bass frequencies, reverb drenched chords and intense strings. Once all of the above get joined by the thundering groove the whole track really takes off and carries the listener with it!

In this next edition of Dream Project Records‘ series on radiOzora we can meet young Italian talent SLIDE.

Slide was born the 13th February of 1995. His love for music began in his childhood thanks to his mother whom used to sing in many liscio bands. In the early days, Slide had his first musical experiences as a singer, with drums, and other instruments as well. Then, during the middle school, he started to study guitar and the music theory at the Experience Music Academy near Padova. During his studies, Slide got into the music business as a shift worker in some local tribute bands and right after, he set up his first Blues Rock band called “Monkeys N’ Cigarettes”. After that, he had the chance to play with many cool artist from Virgin Radio such as “Andrea Rock”, “Alteria”, and so on..
In 2013/2014, Slide got in touch with the world of Trance music and after taking part in some parties, he fell in love with it, giving him the opportunity to develop as a person and soul.

Now, in his studio, Slide teaches guitar and produces Psytrance with some funky/jazz/blues influences, ready to shake you with his brand new sound!

"Don't play with fire"

On Saturday afternoon on our way to Ozora our guide will be HYPEREGGS. Alongside his set we’re inviting you for a talk also.

The innovative Hypereggs liveset entered the Looney Moon family in august 2014. His exclusive psytrance sound takes shape between aggressive basslines and complex rhythms with a taste of “world music”, soaked in night atmospheres and lisergic infuences. Hypereggs just played in parties and festival all around Europe, as in France, Greece, Belgium, Netherlands, Finland, Croatia, Germany, Swiss, Lithuania and Italy. Its frst release was the EP “rum and cortisone” in december 2014, followed in January 2016 by the second EP “breaking circles”, with a lot of releases in diferent v.a.’s and split EPs for label such as Sangoma, Subsystem and Pixan recordings. He also took part in collaboration with other big artists like dust and dharma.

so pumped for this release; it's a doozie!

so how's this for a concept?
tripinstumble (head of cosmic conspiracy) approaches 9 producers and asks them to select "a creature or animal whose existence has yet to be proven or confirmed by science" and write a track based around it.
i chose the classicly australian 'bunyip' as the creature to base my track on.
here are the results of my research into the field of cryptozoology.
but does the bunyip really exist?
