Floormagnet, a group of talented producers/DJs based in Stockholm and Limavady, are making waves in the electronic music industry. Their journey began in the early 90s in Sweden, drawing inspiration from electronic music pioneers and showcasing a deep appreciation for various genres within the scene.

Since their explosive debut release in 2021, they have garnered support from acclaimed artists such as Adam Beyer, Fatboy Slim, Sasha, Hernán Cattáneo, John Digweed, Pan-Pot, Bart Skills, Joris Voorn, Roger Sanchez, Sister Bliss, Tini Gessler, Eelke Kleijn, Victor Ruiz, Seb Fontaine, K-Klass, Dosem, Just Her, Karotte, Anthony Pappa, Ruben Mandolini, Lupe Fuentes, Fear Of Tigers, Danny Rampling, Hito, Horatio and more.

Floormagnet has rapidly gained recognition and support from industry heavyweights including 6AM, Global Techno, Like That Underground and The Rave Exchange. Their discography boasts successful singles, EPs and collaborations with artists such as Tiger Stripes, Weska, Zoo Brazil and Rebecca & Fiona.

Recently signed with the esteemed label Selador, co-owned by Dave Seaman and Steve Parry, Floormagnet are currently collaborating with the progressive house legends Circulation, solidifying their reputation as innovative trailblazers. They also have their own monthly show on We Get Lifted Radio.

Fronted by the exceptional Subjaax, a Beatport Top 10 charting producer and owner of the Subsonicá and Subscurá imprints who has picked up support from heavyweights including Nicole Moudaber, Joseph Capriati, and Adriatique.

Floormagnet have captivated audiences at renowned venues and events including the legendary Lush! @ Kellys Portrush and Secret Society in Dublin. Their own label/imprint FM Recordings has made a significant impact on Beatport with chart- topping releases in genres like Indie Dance, Melodic House & Techno, Beatport Secret Weapons and Techno (Peak time/driving). They have also reached the number one position on Kiss FM Australia Top Ten Chart with the "Kiss Me" (Stripped Mix).

With a continuous release schedule confirmed for the close of 2023, 2024 promises to excite fans and industry insiders alike. Floormagnet's global impact and rising popularity within the electronic music scene are both undeniable.

Hello everyone welcome on board another first class flight around Planet Progressive, it's Wednesday and this is the Il Modo Progcast! 

As winter draws in, Il Modo looks afar for some more fun in the sunshine, and as it has been a while now, we take this opportunity to head to Argentina once more. From Rosario, we introduce another super talented guest starting to make a name in amongst the many that Argentina seems to endlessly produce. Please show your appreciation for Rodrigo Maidana !! 


Rodrigo Maidana is a DJ/Producer, born in Rosario, who began his career as a DJ in 2019, being mainly influenced by Deep House and Progressive sounds.

In this short career he has already shared a booth with the scene's best DJs and has played on the best electronic music platforms in Argentina. In his DJ sets, Rodrigo combines songs from the Deep house, Dub Techno and Progressive House genres, blending them seamlessly with a high level of groove and emotion.

Rodrigo has recently been sharing the decks with the likes of Paul Deep, Nacho Varela & Cruz Vittor, NiceShot, Alex Orion & Budakid amongst others, at various top level events around South America, and we can currently listen to his latest mixes on Progressive House Argentina and on  the brilliant Electronic Groove (EGE) Podcast.

Hello and welcome to the Exclusive Series (with Subcode) Featuring the skills and talents of Dublin's unique trio of Electronic music artists, Fusion Underground. Each month we highlight each of our DJ's Glenn Molloy/Gorgonoize, Soulfinder and Khakra,  with a 2 hour set aired every 4th Thursday of the month.

This month, October, it is back to Khankra, Dave Morrissey, for yet another outstanding 2 hours.  Track list in comments.  

Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Khankra’s passion for electronic music started at a young age and has continued to evolve with time. Khankra’s roots have always been entwined in hypnotic grooves, rolling basslines and driving melodies.

At 17 he purchased his first set of 1210’s and from there he began forging a name for himself in the Dublin scene, playing at nights across some of the city’s best clubs like The Redbox, The Pod, the Button Factory, Traffic, Mono, The Chocolate Bar.

After somewhat of a hiatus from the scene, in 2014 Khankra had the opportunity to warm up for industry icon, and personal hero, Sasha at The Button Factory.

Following this, Khankra teamed up with the Melodic Residents and handed the headphones over to some other industry legends during this time, including Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Los Soruba, The Drifter and Guy J on a number of memorable occasions.

In late 2019, Khankra teamed up with DJ’s Glenn Molloy and Soulfinder to form Fusion Underground. Since then the group have started the Fusion Underground Mix series, which has had some excellent support across the industry and continues to grow.

Khankra has a number of Production projects in play, adding to his releases already on Compatible Records. We should also expect to see Khankra and some top acts playing at Fusion Underground gigs in the near future!

Bringing the sesh back home today, we journey up to the North East of England, and a scene revitalised in recent times. Head of all things good about this revitalisation, please make some noise for our guest today .... RICCO!!

RICCO, also known as Richard Stout, is a talented DJ/Artist hailing from the North East of England. With a career that spans the realms of DJing, music creation, and event promotion, he's a prominent figure in the region's music scene.

In the mid-'90s, Richard embarked on his DJing journey, honing his craft and eventually establishing his own successful night, which enjoyed considerable longevity. 

After a substantial run in the live music scene, Richard hung up his guitar and microphone and rekindled his passion for House music. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his musical journey, as he graced the stages of clubs and festivals alongside some of the industry's biggest names. Along the way, he co-founded events like "All Things House" in the North East, showcasing his dedication to their electronic music community.

More recently, in collaboration with his good friend Danny Jarvis, Richard played a pivotal role in launching "The Early Doors Club." This early evening event redefines the clubbing experience, allowing enthusiasts to savor the excitement of nightlife while still being home before midnight, preserving the sanctity of their Sunday mornings.

Richard's artistic vision goes beyond the booth. He's a forward-thinking DJ who continually seeks and shares new music, constantly pushing the boundaries of sound. In addition to his DJing prowess, he has embarked on the journey of music production, crafting his tracks that carry his unique musical perspective.
