PFG is homeward bound this week, as there really is only one place to be. We're back on the Emerald Isle celebrating the return of St Patricks Day, all over the country tomorrow! 

Sorely taken away from Irishmen and women for the last 2 years, we herald its return with a massive mix from one of Dublin's best known DJ's. Well known in the scene here for many a year, our artist today has also blazed a name for himself across the world, as far as Australia and America. Ladies & Gents, pour yourself a Guinness and Jameson, prepare to party like only the Irish can, its Jay Doyle!

Hailing from Dublin Ireland, Jay Doyle's continued love for music knows no boundaries, heavily influenced by a warm Melodic/Deep & Progressive sound. 

His sets have taken him all the way to BRC Nevada, for the epic Burning Man, performing at the legendary Celtic Chaos & Sonic Soul Tribe on the Playa  alongside fellow Irish artist Dee Montero, Sharam, Facundo Mohrr, John Charnis and more. 
 
Having also lived in Sydney, Australia Jay quickly announced himself on the progressive house circuit, regularly performing for local heavy hitters @S.A.S.H & Blueprint as well as supporting locals & Internationals like Cristoph, Schwa, https://soundcloud.com/daveseaman?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing, Amháin & Monkey Safari.

Upon his return to Ireland Jay has continued his musical journey by holding a weekly radio show (Sunday Grooves)and then quickly re-establishing himself with the capital's club scene. 2022 kicked off with yet another mix, this one for Daria Fomina's Oxygen, her hugely popular Radio show for Frisky Radio, and now that Ireland, and the world is finally reopening its doors, we expect to hear more cool grooves from Jay, very very soon.

Daniel Moore, AKA Ablekid is a veteran DJ/producer from the Orlando underground now living in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. The early 90’s underground music scene in Orlando and Cocoa Beach, was Daniel's original home, and the place he began his 30 year plus voyage of sonic discovery. 

Surrounded by a plethora of musical talent and with one of America’s greatest underground clubs (Aahz) on his doorstep, Daniel’s journey into dance music was as fortuitous as it was inevitable. After picking up a set of decks in 2000, he started buying vinyl by the crate-load and honing his skills; shortly after, a small following developed.

Fast-forward to a move to the musical hotbed of Austin, Texas in 2009, the Ablekid moniker had seen success in various forms. Now signed to Praveen Achary’s https://soundcloud.com/juiceboxmusic-in?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing imprint, along with older releases on Christian Lang’s https://soundcloud.com/kindred-recordings?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing (Paris) and Rapid Fire Records (Miami), Daniel has also fostered relationships with many promo services by becoming part of the Release Promo roster in 2014.

In 2018, he landed a spot on the esteemed FRISKY Radio platform with his show "Waveforms", which airs every 4th Monday of each month at 10 AM EST.

His continued success in the US underground scene is a combination of effective crate digging, silky smooth DJ skills and just the right amount of grit and determination. His mixes and productions are the result of all this hard work and shows a depth of knowledge and attention to detail.

G'day everyone! Time to jump on board the PFG Progcast for another whirlwind flight around the world of Progressive Beats! 

We are treading a well worn route as we travel across the Pacific and land in... Australia! PFG always has BIG love for our fellow prog heads down under, with several amazing mixes already in the can by amazing DJs and artists. Today we head to Melbs once more, and the home of a DJ who is making big waves. Sharing the stage with her hometown's heavy hitters, PFG make some noise for Leah Marie !


Leah Marie is an upcoming DJ from Melbourne, Australia, with an ever-growing passion for Progressive House. Leah grew up playing classical piano and developed a taste for electronic music as a teenager. She had been on the other side of the dance-floor for many years and finally decided to jump behind the decks in 2019. 

Leah landed her first gig at the beginning of 2021 and hasn’t looked back since. Her near meteoric rise to fame sees her regularly playing at some of Melbourne’s most well-known venues. Killing Time, Glamorama, 24 Moons, Pawn & Co, My Aeon and Revolver Upstairs, to name but a few! 

She frequently showcases her love of Progressive and Melodic House music for events and labels such as Mama Said, Capture Experience and Intimet. Her career defining DJ set came only recently, as she had the pleasure of playing the opening set for the Morning After Agency’s - Enchanted Garden Afterparty, whose headliners included Guy J. 

Leah’s progressive house DJ sets are largely inspired from her experiences over the years at Rainbow Serpent Festival. A mix from her encompasses deep, driving, hypnotic, emotive and often tribal & ethereal elements, all of which are in this one hour exclusive mix!

Falling Into Life his story “I learned so many things about life and about myself. Can I really love myself without the reflection and mirror from the other? Can I really feel love? Apparently I was so freaking co-dependent. That I needed validation from somebody else. Can I really let go? The lyrics in the song are still a mantra today. It showed me that I tend to connect with pain not with love. If someone is in pain, I can take care of them. So they see me and give me a reason to exist. Why do I give all this energy away to someone else? Why am I not able to give all this love and energy to myself? And now I see, and sometimes still feel, that the universe gave me a lesson in focus. A lesson where I am not free. After the break-up, my focus came back to me. And I used the situation as a catalyst. I pulled myself away from the world and stepped inside my own universe again. Music started flowing like never before. As the creator that I am, I sat with my guitar fiddling around and gave expression to the loss I felt. At that time, I sent a lot of my musical ideas to some Ecstatic Dance DJ’s because I had a dream: One day I will bring my music to the Ecstatic Dance floor, and so I met Nykkyo, and we started giving live performances together. At that time, he was in a situation where he also had to let go of some stuff. I can’t really remember, but he told me that I almost wanted to delete the song. Finish it, he said," and I will make a remix. For me, Butterfly also stands for growth and transformation. For letting go. Being free. Grateful on my way…”
