Its a short sharp trip back to The Netherlands today and its marine city of Rotterdam. We've arrived at the home of a DJ/Producer/Theologist with over 25 years experience and still making waves. PFG, delivering an exclusive sermon just for you.... its Deacon Cross! 

Deacon Cross is a DJ/Producer based near Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He started his DJ career in 1998 and playing and dancing in a bar in his hometown. He soon got a residence in the 'Basement' of the largest club here where he was a resident for 7 years. He also started producing, working in a studio and a record store too. But when vinyl gave way to CD's and Progressive house was dying out, Deacon stopped the DJing, and made a massive turn in his life, going on to study theology to become a Deacon in the Catholic church. 

He was ordained as a Deacon in 2018 to serve in a parish, which he still does to this day. But the big question remained, how he could reach normal people in society with his message of faith, hope and love?  When he felt the need to start playing again he got the answer, his music allowing him to connect his vocation and the life of modern man. To be an ordinary DJ on one hand, and a Man of God on the other.
Deacon has also started producing again and has already delivered several tracks and remixes on labels like Soundteller, Superordinate, Future Avenue and 3 Degree. He delivers his productions as he does his DJ sets, with a spiritual content. Because that is what being a DJ is all about for him, creating a spiritual process in which Heaven and Earth are connected.
