Diego Berrondo - Progressive Heaven Easter Special 2021

Hello crew, Welcome to another Exclusive PFG Progcast, our weekly mission that seeks out and finds only the BEST in Progressive, Deep Tech and Melodic House, without fail!

As the intro suggests, we've dashed across the border from Germany, and on our first ever visit to Poland, it is only fitting that we make our entrance a big one. He is his country's finest exponent of the music we love, and has over 25 years knowledge in making and playing it. So its with huge excitement, we bring to you an EXCLUSIVE SET, from CREAM!

Cream, also known as Krzysztof Kupczakiewicz, was born in Krakow, and currently lives in Jaroslaw. He developed a fascination for all kinds of music owing to his father. He would inculcate Chris's interest in the music of the Beatles, his childhood, an interest in New Romantic and electropop. During adolescence, Chris discovered his passion for electronic music, which shaped him musically to a great degree.

In 1984, Chris played his first gig using EuroDisco and Italo Disco. Six years later, 
he became a resident DJ at one of the first clubs in Jaroslaw - 
Marashino. It was the place where Cream was able to gain his valuable 
musical experience. Chris also moved onto Trance in the late 90s. In 1996, Chris held a 10 year residency at 'Reno' Club which was the cradle of house music in Poland at the time. During the 20 years that Cream spent in Jaroslaw, he played in almost all of its clubs, also working as a sound engineer, which helped him expand his knowledge. Since 2004, he has played in many clubs in Poland including 'Chilli Club' for 9 years as resident. Cream has also presented his DJ mixes on many radio stations including Frisky Radio, Golden Wings Radio, DI FM, Insomnia FM, and Houseradio.pl, where he is now the Music Director. Since March 2013, he has been hosting his own radio show "Terminal" which covers a broad spectrum of progressive music on Proton!
Together with Deep Fog, Chris formed a duo that shows the passion 
for broadly understood electronic music, which has already resulted in several 
releases on respected labels, such as Proton Particles, Electronic Tree, Soundteller Records. They've also worked remixes for such well-known progressive artists as GusGus, Fernando Ferreyra, GMJ & Matter, Huminal, Marcelo Vasami, Kastis Torrau & Donatello, Sebastian Busto and many more.
Their productions are supported by some highly regarded artists such as 
Hernan Cattaneo, Chicane and Gai Barone.

It's hard to classify Chris's musical style. Presently it's a 
combination of House, Progressive, Tech House and minimal techno sounds. On this exclusive set, Cream includes not one, but TWO brand new tracks premiering for the first time ever! ENJOY THE MIX!

For today's trans-continental trip, the Podcast heads back south from Canada to the hedonistic hotbed that is Brazil! Always one of our favourite destinations, this beautiful country is no stranger to producing highly talented artists, and its never hard to find a DJ that can turn a party into a carnival! Our act today is no exception, in fact he is perfection! Você está pronto PFG?... its Luciano Scheffer!

Luciano Scheffer is a DJ and producer, born in Brazil whose style varies effortlessly between Progressive House and Techno. His DJ sets, always filled with hypnotic sounds and deep atmosphere have become a mainstay in the wider Brazilian Club Scene. Luciano’s star was born by playing at several parties & clubs like Cercle Brazil where he warmed up for Artbat in 2019, D.Edge, After Derrete 2018(Carnaval), Dedge Festival (2018), Elleven (SP), and River Club (Montenegro/RS). Playing at these clubs earned Luciano the chance to play and share the decks with the best in the business, like Nick Warren, Artbat and Alex Niggeman, to name a few! 

In a relatively short space of time, Luciano  graduated from DJing, and took his experiences behind the decks into producing. He has already released tracks on labels like Onedotsixtwo, Visceral, Balkan Connection, Or Two Strangers, Balkan Connection South America, Clubsonica Records, Wizarding Wolf, Strangers Beats, Transensations Records, Stellar Fountain, Electronic Tree, Suffused Music, BC2, Massive Harmony Records, Just Movement, PHW Elements, Droid9, Nube Music Records, Zephyr Music, Consapevole Recordings, 3xA Music, Sever Records, & Varona.
