Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Stephen Hogg (Soulfinder) has had a passion and a love for electronic music from a very young age. Inspired by artists such as Sasha, and other monoliths of progressive house music.  Stephen knew it was his destiny to eventually follow in the footsteps of these musical masterminds and carve a niche of his own, as Soulfinder. 

Naturally this form was something that his passion and love had evolved itself into and Soulfinder quickly began to learn the ropes and make a lot of headway in a very short time period.   Before long he had his very first release published on Outside the Box Music (owned and operated by Eelke Kleijn).  In 2009 he was voted best newcomer and his debut album Wasteland was voted album of the year on Swiss National Radio.  That led to him preforming at the legendary Love festival that year.   

Fast forward to 2021 he has now released on labels such as Blackhole Recordings, Spring Tube and Soundteller, amongst many others. He was a regular DJ at ADE for many years playing alongside Nick Warren & Hernan Cattaneo with his former managment Groove Collection. Nowadays Soulfiner has teamed up with 2 others, Khankra and Glenn Molloy (Gorgonoize) under a project called Fusion Underground, having recently played their debut live gig at Bow Lane Dublin. Fusion release a monthly radio show with The Exclusive Series and Subcode, which is relaunching as a Thursday night show next week.

Hello everyone, and welcome onboard the PFG Progcast! It's destination dance floors, as we search for the finest underground beats for your selection, strap in tight! 

We're continuing our tour of England, taking it back to that magical Manchester weekend again, as we hosted our Digweed Pre-party at Joshua Brookes. Our DJ today is a long serving veteran of the scene, and we really could'nt think of anyone better to kick off proceedings on that wonderful day!

As with most aspiring DJs, Stuart began his journey into sound by hanging around record shops, eager to buy the latest 12"s. As his collection grew, he began to develop his own style and technique, and was often found travelling the length of the country handing out mixtapes at clubs and events, pretty much the normal way of doing things before the internet was born. 

This hard work eventually paid off as he was offered a residency at "The Edge" in Sheffield, with a chance to play alongside rave heavyweights Grooverider, Mickey Finn, DJ SS and Hype, to name a few. 

There was something missing though, so Stu needed a fresh challenge and direction. It came along in the form of brand new music from Oakenfold, BT, Blue Amazon, Paul Van Dyk, and most importantly... Sasha & Digweed. Their musical selections and mixing style blew him away, and he knew that was where he was headed. 

Stuart has been resident at UCAP, one of Manchester's leading club nights. Bringing world class DJs into a personal and intimate club space, Higgins has warmed up for Danny Howells, Nick Muir, Jody Wisternoff, Robert Babicz, Quivver and Elke Kleijn amongst others. 

Fast forward to the present day, and Stuart finds himself as head of Secluded Events Worldwide/Secluded Records, a brand dedicated to bringing small, secluded stylish events to discerning clubbers around the world..
