Hello and welcome to our 9th Exclusive Series (with Subcode) of 2023. Each month we highlight the skills and talents of Dublin's unique trio of electronic music artists Fusion Underground. Premiering an exclusive 2 hour DJ set every month, September see's the return of Soulfinder!

Hailing from Dublin Ireland. Stephen Hogg has had a passion and a love for electronic music from a very young age. Inspired by artists such as Sasha, and other monoliths of progressive house music. Stephen knew it was his destiny to eventually follow in the footsteps of these musical masterminds and carve a nice of his own, as Soulfinder.

Naturally this form was something that his love and passion had evolved itself into, and Soulfinder quickly began to learn the ropes and make a lot of headway in a short time period. before long he had his very first release published on Outside The Box Music (owned and operated by Elke Kleijn). In 2009 he was voted best newcomer as his debut album Wasteland was voted album of the year on Swiss National Radio. That lead him to perform at the legendary Love Festival later the same year.

After many releases hitting the big numbers in various charts, by 2023 Stephen has seen his music released on BlackHole, Spring Tube, Soundteller amongst many other high quality marques.

Soulfinder, with Khankra & Gorgonoize now form Fusion Underground, between them learning many accolades and garnering countless individual and collective projects, in and around the local and international scene. He recently headlined two gigs in Belfast, to huge local admiration and fanfare.

Soulfinder has found recent success once more with tracks such as "Frankie" & "Snow Leopard" getting air time from spinners such as Anthony Pappa, Harry Lemon and many more...

Exclusive Series on Subcode -  September 2023 Soulfinder

Hello and welcome to the Exclusive Series (with Subcode) Featuring the skills and talents of Dublin's unique trio of Electronic music artists, Fusion Underground. Each month we highlight each of our DJ's Glenn Molloy/Gorgonoize, Soulfinder and Khakra,  with a 2 hour set aired every 4th Thursday of the month.

This month, October, it is back to Khankra, Dave Morrissey, for yet another outstanding 2 hours.  Track list in comments.  

Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Khankra’s passion for electronic music started at a young age and has continued to evolve with time. Khankra’s roots have always been entwined in hypnotic grooves, rolling basslines and driving melodies.

At 17 he purchased his first set of 1210’s and from there he began forging a name for himself in the Dublin scene, playing at nights across some of the city’s best clubs like The Redbox, The Pod, the Button Factory, Traffic, Mono, The Chocolate Bar.

After somewhat of a hiatus from the scene, in 2014 Khankra had the opportunity to warm up for industry icon, and personal hero, Sasha at The Button Factory.

Following this, Khankra teamed up with the Melodic Residents and handed the headphones over to some other industry legends during this time, including Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Los Soruba, The Drifter and Guy J on a number of memorable occasions.

In late 2019, Khankra teamed up with DJ’s Glenn Molloy and Soulfinder to form Fusion Underground. Since then the group have started the Fusion Underground Mix series, which has had some excellent support across the industry and continues to grow.

Khankra has a number of Production projects in play, adding to his releases already on Compatible Records. We should also expect to see Khankra and some top acts playing at Fusion Underground gigs in the near future!

Hello Everyone!! Wednesday has come back round again, and so therefore has this, our exclusive weekly Progcast. Come with us as we travel in search of the best DJ sets we can find, anywhere on Planet Progressive! 

Bringing the sesh back home today, we journey up to the North East of England, and a scene revitalised in recent times. Head of all things good about this revitalisation, please make some noise for our guest today .... RICCO!!

RICCO, also known as Richard Stout, is a talented DJ/Artist hailing from the North East of England. With a career that spans the realms of DJing, music creation, and event promotion, he's a prominent figure in the region's music scene.

In the mid-'90s, Richard embarked on his DJing journey, honing his craft and eventually establishing his own successful night, which enjoyed considerable longevity. 

After a substantial run in the live music scene, Richard hung up his guitar and microphone and rekindled his passion for House music. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his musical journey, as he graced the stages of clubs and festivals alongside some of the industry's biggest names. Along the way, he co-founded events like "All Things House" in the North East, showcasing his dedication to their electronic music community.

More recently, in collaboration with his good friend Danny Jarvis, Richard played a pivotal role in launching "The Early Doors Club." This early evening event redefines the clubbing experience, allowing enthusiasts to savor the excitement of nightlife while still being home before midnight, preserving the sanctity of their Sunday mornings.

Richard's artistic vision goes beyond the booth. He's a forward-thinking DJ who continually seeks and shares new music, constantly pushing the boundaries of sound. In addition to his DJing prowess, he has embarked on the journey of music production, crafting his tracks that carry his unique musical perspective.
