We are back behind the decks with a DJ returning for a second spell here. She can stand alongside any of her male peers, with her unique skills, track selection and ability to build a mix. She is no ordinary DJane, this is Julie Petrecca!

Julie Petrecca was born in 1981 in Montreal. Since childhood, Julie is introduced to music as she grows up practically in the recording studio own by her father. He quickly transmits his passion and his interest for the world of music to his daughter.

In her late teens, she discovered Electronic music and her passion for music grows even more. All these years of musical culture and the well-kept connection to this particular universe, Julie's taste develops in several categories of Electronic music from Underground Deep House, Organic House, Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, Techno ... nevertheless Julie prefers the underground sounds!

Since February 2015, Julie hosts her own weekly show ‘’The So What! Radioshow’’ presenting DJs and Producers from all around the world. She’s also involved in her Family radio, ‘’Radio Webphré’’ E N J O Y !

This week we travel back to the Caucasus and to the beautiful nation of Azerbaijan where our next guest, K9, is based. His passion for music since childhood led him to study the violin. Along with his interest in electronics and technology, Kenan also studied the technical aspects of music. 

After discovering electronic music, he began to try himself in the genres of ambient, progressive house and techno. His sets were met with great interest from listeners of both local and international radio stations. Over time, K9 developed his own style of mixing music, aiming to present listeners with a unique atmosphere and theme in each set. In each set, Kenan creates a soundscape that transcends time and space, combines different emotions and draws the listener into his world.

Welcome to  this week's Ultiset EP 79.  I dug deep in my promos' crate as well as went down memory lane on some songs that really have resonated with me these past 6 months.
