Bio:
Alain M.'s weekly podcast, Ottawa Prog Vibes, regularly charts on Mixcloud's Canadian Top 100 Electronica shows and receives regular contributions from producers from around the world. His mixing has been noted as particularly creative and smooth, a skill that allow his sets to be experienced as seamless stories. Alain M. started dj’ing in his early 20s and played a variety of clubs, big and small, in Ottawa, Montreal and Kingston. From teenage influences in progressive rock, metal and blues, and later New York and Chicago house, Dutch techno and early trance, his style has evolved towards the more melodic, infectiously rhythmic and thoughtful sounds of progressive house, with a fondness for Argentinian productions.

Hello everyone and welcome! This is the Il Modo Progcast, your one way ticket to exclusive DJ mixes from around Planet progressive. Come with us today, lets see where we have landed..

Our artist today has produced under many aliases, D00SH, Kube72 amongst them. DJing for nearly 30 years, he's had all the support from all the big names in his time. Now we get to hear what this pseudonym has in store, and trust us its mighty! Make some noise for Sergio Vilas! 


Sergio Vilas is a pseudonym for this multi talented and distinguished music producer and DJ. He has previously toured Germany, held a residency in Dresden, played in Poland, Czech Republic,  the UK including Glastonbury and America. He has had over 150 releases, one of which Carl Cox signed for his Space Ibiza 2010 released in 2010. 
 
Under his many guises, Sergio has produced House, Techno, Ambient, Downtempo, Progressive and Melodic sounds. He has been signed to many top labels such as Holy Grail Music, Dear Deer, Subsensory, Endemic, Balkan United, Rollerblaster Records, Stripped Recordings, Deepsessions Recordings and many more.

Having been supported by Carl Cox for the past 13 years Sergio has been able to feature in most of Carl’s sets, and you can hear his music being played by Carl at events like Ultra and Awakenings.  Carl recently added Sergio's latest track 'Arabian Nights' to his Spotify playlist.

Sergio continued to be a feature on BBC Introducing Essex and was one of their artists to watch for in 2021 and having been supported over the years from DJ’s like Richie Hawtin, Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, John Digweed, Joseph Capriatti and many more, you can see why.

Having just completed his third album called Persistence, which was signed to Dear Deer, Sergio continues to expand his back catalogue even further. Releases for Ibiza Boys, Friday Lights Music, Rollerblaster Records , Udopia  Records, Holy Grail Music and many more are all slated in the near future.

You might think..."How come I don’t know about this guy?" Well now is the time to find out!

We are back in Malta after two years away, at the home of a respected figure in our scene. DJ, Promoter and label head, our guest returns this week with another spectacular exclusive mix, make some noise for Dylan Deck!

Dylan Deck, born in 1986, is a leading figure in the Maltese and European electronic music scene. He began his DJ career in 2002, and his dedication quickly established him as a prominent name in Progressive house music. 

By 2016, Dylan had ventured into music production,  and has since released tracks with over 50 record labels, including Movement, Mango Alley, Modern Agenda, and Balkan Connection. His work has garnered support from renowned DJs like Ferry Corsten, Hernan Cattaneo, Gai Barone, Mariano Mellino and Miss Monique.

In 2021, he was appointed A&R manager of Another Life Music, a Swiss record label headed by EMPHI.  In 2023, he founded Moussaieff Records and after a successful year, Dylan expanded further with the launch of his second record label, Ferberite Recordings in 2024.
