Biography:

Turning Wheel Records was founded in 1999 in Zurich by Rolf Graf and Captain Zero with ZAP Music, with the aim of offering young national artists and new producers an international forum.

At that juncture, it was almost impossible for lesser known DJs without connections to put their work and passion on display to a broader public. Turning Wheel Rec enabled these undiscovered talents in the Swiss music scene to arouse public interest. Within a short period of time, the first national successes could be documented, and even nationally renowned DJs such as Dream, Noise, Subsonic and Enjoy (Reminder) came forward with their productions.

To date, Turning Wheel Rec can look back on over 300 record releases with remixes of the biggest names among the international DJs, like Pig&Dan, Spektre, Alberto Ruiz, Mr.Bizz, Redhead, Simone Tavazzi, Avrosse and many more.

1986, born in Lemgo, a small town in west Germany, Tim Rehme was interested in electronic music since he was young. In the 90's he found his love for Techno & Acid Housemusic and with the Housemusic wave in 2003, he was sold on to it. Influenced from this sound, he fixed his works in Deep- and Techhouse. With his new name he started mixing demo tapes at home and sent them to all well-known clubs in the area. 2006 he took his chance to play live on stage in Sam's Club, in Bielefeld. He convinced the people for his style an technique. In 2008 founded the project "Novel T.". A while later in 2009, he founded the label "Nulectric", together with some good friends and they began producing their first tracks. In short time, they were well-known, had a lot of fans and several shows across Germany.

"Inside electronic music, you allway get to know new styles and trends. But what allways proved itself over years, were kickdrums, snares, hats and basslines. This are timeless elements for me and in future I will lay my focus on to this." Says Tim.

He also likes to work together with other artists, whose focus doesn't particularly lies inside the dark and chilled Deephouse Genre. For example, you will find elements of Rap, Drum & Bass or similar Genres in his other projects. Like you can hear it in "Green Meadow", "iamrestless", "Novel T." and "Mr. Pipe".

1986 geboren in Lemgo, einer kleinen Stadt in Westdeutschland, war Tim Rehme schon seit seiner Jugend an Musik interessiert und spielte gerne Schlagzeug und Keybord. In den 90ern fand er seine Liebe für Techno & Acid House und mit der Housemusik Welle im Jahre 2003 war es dann um ihn geschehen. Inspiriert von diesem Stil, fokussierte er seine Werke im Genre Deep- und Techhouse. Unter dem Namen "Novel T." begann er Zuhause Demotapes zu mixen und verschickte sie an alle bekannten Clubs in der Region. 2006 nahm er die Chance wahr, live im Sams´s Club Bielefeld aufzulegen und so überzeugte er die Leute mit Stil und Technik. 2009 gründete er dann, zusammen mit guten Freunden sein Label "Nulectric Records". Tim begann eigene Tracks zu produzieren und erlangte nach einigen, deutschlandweiten Auftritten eine gewisse Popularität und somit auch eine solide Fanbase.

"In der elektronischen Musik entdeckt man immer wieder neue Trends, doch was sich seit all den Jahren bewährt hat sind Kicks, Snares, Hats und Basslines. Das sind für mich die zeitlosen Elemente. In meinen Produktionen werde ich in Zukunft dort meinen Fokus legen." So Tim.

Er arbeitet gerne mit anderen Künstlern zusammen, deren Fokus nicht unbedingt in seinem Stil, dem düsteren, kühlen Deephouse liegen muss. Beispielweise in Rap, Drum & Bass, oder ähnlichen Genres, wie deutlich in seinen weiteren Projekten "Green Meadow", "iamrestless", "Novel T." und "Mr. Pipe" zu hören ist.
