Kavon “Jalliqq Amir” Wilson is a Harrisburg Pennsylvania native hip hop artist. Knowing his unique theatrical taste, he was taught hip hop culture from his father and became an emcee at 11 years old. Amir drew inspiration from artists such as Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G., Rakim and KRS-One. As an adolescence, Amir would seek to perform music and theater on a number of local platforms in Pennsylvania until 2012, when he moved to Florida. Back in 2016, Jalliqq opened up for Hip-Hop legend, KRS-One.
 
Amir has released 3 singles thus far in 2019; earning him a nomination for Best Hip Hop performer award at The Fusion Showcase in Orlando, FL. Although anxiously awaiting the birth of his first child, Amir has put together an epic line-up of work set out to release throughout the remainder of 2019.
