Curiosities 021 - Cici

Hello and welcome to a new edition of the Club Room. Today I will relax because I am so fucking proud that I can present to you one of my favourite artists. I play his tracks for years in almost every set and I do it because I love him so much. He is so talented and he is a real sweetheart. We never met personally but I got him to release on my label Sous Music. He delivered an amazing stunning EP. “Come Through” is out on Sous Music and I am talking about LUPE. He really is one of my favorites. He is living in Amsterdam, has a special education in music and we are on a similar wave so please enjoy and relax. One hour - LUPE here on the club room. It’s amazing!

Club Room 216 with LUPE

Sindhi Curry aka Pramod Sippy started his musical journey at an impressionable age 
of 14. His foray into DJing began with terrace parties and impromptu gatherings, 
usually organized by friends. A self-taught DJ, his intrigue led him to continually 
delve deeper into the artform, perpetually striving to understand it better. Over the 
course of a musical career spanning more than two decades, Pramod has held multiple 
residencies and performed across the country. During this journey, he has moved 
seamlessly from tapes to CDs, to consoles, to vinyl, of which he is a true practitioner 
with a growing collection. 
Pramod has been an integral part of the entertainment industry, notably as a co-
founder of The Bombay Elektrik Project and The Hive. His work was crucial in 
building the foundation for culture centers and movements in the country, providing 
platforms for upcoming talents to showcase their skills.
Sindhi Curry’s sound is a true testament to the diversity in music and its evolution 
through time. His style of music today is influenced by Chicago-House, Disco, Funk, 
Soul and Detroit Techno, amongst a vast array of genres. The atmosphere that he 
seeks to create can be best described as fresh, warm, and infused with funky grooves 
and cosmic sounds.
Till this day, one of the pillars of the foundation of his musicality has been his 
characteristic openness to all types of music. His knowledge and experience 
combined, is something that keeps him evolving as an artist,

Faris grew up in Perth and moved to Melbourne almost 4 years ago. 

Whilst new to selecting, he has held a strong connection and exposure to various scenes across different cities and continents. 

This gives him an eclectic taste in electronic music traversing through deep, celestial sounds whilst maintaining a bouncy urban groove to his mixes. A style that is influenced from his early love of 90/00's soul & hip hop.

The mix for DHM takes you away for over 1 hour of deep rollers, techno and trance inspired house.

Eindhoven’s Albert van Abbe has been involved in many different musical projects over the past 15 years. Currently focused on making absorbing techno under his own name, he has found a unique creative niche where manic percussion, searching synths and wide open soundscapes exist in perfect harmony. There is a serenity to his music that is soothing and calming, while at the same time, arresting and experimental. Besides his own VANABBE and No Comment labels, he has released on tasteful outlets like Curle, Semantica, Deep Sound Channel and ESHU.
