For the 60th edition, we bring you a mix from Naarm based DJ, PPJ.PPJ is an Australian-born Chinese who, recently moving to Naarm formally resided on the stolen land of the muwinina people of nipaluna/ Hobart. 

They are an emerging DJ with a unique style that is a product of the exploration of music history and politics across many different genres that has lead to a deeper understanding of their own identity. 

With a majority career spanning across last year’s lockdowns, PPJ is an exciting new energy on the underground electronic music scene and definitely one to watch in the future.

Psychic Liberation presents “Friendly CSA Compilations Parts 1 & 2”. A compilation in two parts consisting of artists orbiting the PL canon from around the world in an effort to raise funds for Roots Unbound Friendly CSA.

Roots Unbound (RU) is an abolitionist grassroots organization based in Brooklyn offering nature-based programming centered around food justice, therapeutic horticulture and ecological disinvestment to people in the NYC area with a focus on supporting and uplifting people impacted by the carceral system.

Friendly CSA is a cooperative, agricultural initiative that was mobilized to respond to the food apartheid within New York jails and prisons. Roots Unbound sends care packages of harvested produce that are
chosen by incarcerated folks via a newsletter sent out every month, by growing and collaborating with local New York City land stewards. This CSA is provided at no cost to the recipients, funds raised for this CSA will be used towards packaging, postage, printed materials for newsletters, and a P.O. box.

Lena Ortega (aka Leena Lee) is a sound artist, field recordist, researcher, designer and teacher whose line of research explores the intersections between natures/cultures. Member of the interdisciplinary research group Arte+Ciencia at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She has been a visiting artist and researcher in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy and Finland and has participated in national and international group exhibitions. She has published articles in collective books on design, philosophy and sound art publications. Currently host of the radio program Sin Superficie, la Piel no es el Límite, dedicated to the active practice of listening. She presents works, mostly by women and non-binary artists, in the fields of sound ecology, sound art and experimental music.
