My winning entry for the Lost Party 2021 Atari music compo. Composed in Raster Music Tracker. Uses dual POKEY and 5-speed player routine.
Recorded from Atari 800XE. Stereo separation reduced to 70% in post-processing for better headphone experience.

Optimized/mixed for headphones on GBA.

Recorded (.WAV writer) from Schism Tracker since my Game Boy Advance SP doesn't have an audio output and the audio adapter generates too much background noise for recording.

It's a looping theme, so I gave it a couple of runs before fade out. A bit too loud recording but can't do anything about it anymore.

Our scientists when roaming through space they find peculiar manifests that cannot be explained by normal thinking and calculus. One of them is Chimera.
Chimera, a mythical creatures becomes elusive metaphysical being for our space sailors. It is a "mirage". Constant lust to see what it represents and to explore it glorious manifestation, it drives them crazy. When it(she) is gone they are confused and baffled. In time returning to their normal selves they see that they are on the right path.
