Currently mine is more around Benzos, Trazadone, Zolpidem... Fun stuff really -_-'  As you might have understood if you're reading the description of the tracks I release, the past couple of months have been a steep dive (rather a sinking). Anyway, not here to complain, here to try to make it through and doing my Reboots is part of it !

It had been a while I had a reboot of @sebastienleger 's infamous "Take your Pills" track that hit the dancefloors back in 2005 and that I really loved at the time. But the main synth is not something very easy to work with and intergrate in an already existing track, so the project had gotten a little bit forgotten under a pile of Dust.
That was until last week when I listend the @Meduzamusic 's amazing 5 Hour set at Club Space Miami and heard this track called Tunnel from @carl-bee
What struck me, beside the sheer power of that track, is that somehow the LFOed main synth could easily play the role of a 2024 version of Take Your Pill's original synth. So there I finally had it, the opportunity to finish that long started reboot, and to do it in stule, because Tunnel is an ABSOLUTE BANGER of a track. Respect to Carl Bee for pulling this one off !
My reboot is really not one of my most complicated ones, still I relly love it.

Born and Raised in Grenoble - FR, now living in the Geneva Area - CH,
I have been passionate about Electronic music and especially Techno since I was a kid. 
This is why you will find a lot of older, some would say classic tracks in my Reboots. Because my Techno memories take me wayyyyy back, and I work a lot based on my emotions and memories :)

To me, doing Mash Ups is a discipline on its own amongst Music Production. I do take it seriously. It's not just quickly putting a vocal in the break of another track, not really caring if it fits well or not, just to be cool and trend on a currently hyped track.
I'd rather not work on a track I love than doing it just for the sake of doing it and actually not bringing any interesting new dimension to it or do something mediocre. 
That's why it sometimes takes me several months between wanting to rework a track I like and actually doing it. because I won't do it if it half-assed. I will wait until I have something that truly fits and makes a worthy Reboot.
My philosophy when it comes to producing my Reboots is to create something new, to take the original track out of its context/style and give it a brand new identity, something that could be a remix, or another original track altogether, not just 2 different tracks played on top of each other.
I was standing right next to Joachim Garraud, back in 2005, when he dropped for the very first time this UFO of a track that "The Egg Vs Love don't Let me go" was. He had finished it earlier that day and had kept it a secret. I remember all of our faces, staring at each other, our jaws had all dropped to the floor. The entire club was SHOCKED, stunned, amazed, in TRANCE.
This is the impact, the power, a good Mash Up can have. It can be even more powerful than an original track, because it will take a track people already know and love, with all the emotions and memories they have associated to it, into a new universe. And this is EXTREMELY powerful.
