Over the past few years, Nahash and ABADIR have been sharing food recipes, the same sense of humour, and their love for 90's rave, Beth Gibbons, Sun Ra, and grilled lamb. They met last summer for the first time and enjoyed a B2B together during a label showcase in Fano, Italy. Their memories of and appreciation for 90’s and early 00’s Arabic pop music inspired their first collaboration on SVBKVLT. Marchadair is the distillation of the meaty club sound by both producers; ABADIR’s micro-edited audio sampling and surgical chopped percussions mixed with Nahash’s lavish dub techniques and hefty bass, all serving as the main ingredients for these 4 heavyweight tracks. To close the menu, the EP features remixes by Ehua and Toumba.

The track titles play on a symbolic link between both artists and their native languages, using French words that have morphed into Egyptian slang. This Franco-Egyptian mixture echoes the hybrid sound of the EP.

From a house under renovation in Lima — surrounded by construction noise, traffic, and the intensity of city life — SELVAGIA & CIBER1A carved out the mental space to build HIPERLAXA: a raw document of transformation and catharsis.
Produced in just a few days with field recordings, modular synths, and shared intuition, the record flows like a fixed point watching everything around it mutate, collapse, and rebuild itself.

Industrial, club, deconstructed, funk, Afro-Peruvian — influences are torn up, distorted, and blended without hesitation.

Both artists come from improvisation and dropped any preconceptions, letting the process itself define the sonic world of HIPERLAXA — transient, intense, danceable, and unexpected.

More than a record, HIPERLAXA is the echo of a vital transition, captured in a moment where everything was shifting.
Between Lima and Montreal, urgency and contemplation, SELVAGIA & CIBER1A  craft a rhythmic antidote for times of perpetual motion.
