Jazzz is dead, long live Jazzz.

And to celebrate it, the electronic music collective has published a compilation with contributions from most of the artists who have passed through its parties, such as Neana, Joseph Marinetti, Merca Bae, Seiho, 9starP, Eurosanto, Absolute Terror, Resla, Aitor Doráti, Dj aba and Tearss Club, and also members of the collective (YYIOY, Wi-Fiji y Followback).
The songs included in the compilation are exclusive and original, and can be heard from May 20 on all Jazzz Collective digital platforms: Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Spotify, Youtube, Tidal.

In addition, to celebrate the launch of Jazzz for your soul # 1, the Madrid collective has designed and put on sale a limited edition of t-shirts that can be obtained through its Bandcamp.

Shelter presents “Aveen” — the third installation in our genre-agnostic compilation series.

To follow up 2023’s “Feyrûse” and 2024’s “Mizgîn”, we have curated an emotionally charged collection of 17 tracks that press against the debilitating realities of life in the mid-2020s. The title stems from a Persian word meaning “pure” or “transparent” — signaling a search for unfiltered and sincere artistic expression in the midst of a social climate filled with smoke and mirrors.

“Aveen” features Shelter’s most international line-up to date, with music from 18 artists spread across 13 countries and 5 continents displaying their signature sounds shaped by their local scenes and cultures. 

Flowing through mutated shades of ambient, hypnagogic pop, trance, leftfield techno, neo-perreo, and GQOM — the compilation connects the myriad influences and mind-states of electronic musicians from nearly every corner of the world and tethers them together into a cathartic 17-track excursion.

“Kolasi Night Club” captures the hazy intensity of a Balkan night - where cheap liquor, sweat, and cigarette smoke mix under red and blue lights. With a dark, hypnotic lead riding a reggaeton rhythm, it evokes the chaos and charm of late-night bouzoukia night clubs. Creative Process desc.

kvadosh works by combining raw, folkloric elements with modern electronic frameworks— especially low-end-heavy rhythms, re-imagining them through club-oriented structures. Each track is built as a scene, often mixing the sentimental with the gritty, and the familiar with the unexpected.

About Let's Collapse

Let’s Collapse is a collaboration EP between Pixelord and Max Dahlhaus in Moscow and Berlin, respectively. The illusion of the global village, which it seems like yesterday’s, collapsed due to the outbreak of covid-19, but none of this can prevent people from contacting each other. This EP shows how the artists feel in it.

Both artists are good at creating cold music, and the collision of ideas has produced many wonderful changes in the results. The whole EP is like a roaring turbo engine, and the huge sound continuously presses our hearts. There is always some strange but beautiful sound between the heavy drums and the rough background noise, when they appear, it will make the listener's scalp tremble like two sharp pieces of metal rubbed in a flash. All these sounds constitute a sci-fi world, and the rich details bring people into endless spaces of imagination. The world is constantly destroyed and rebuilt in the journey of the seven tracks, and the epic ending leaves all this to the unknown.

《Let’s Collapse》由分别位于莫斯科和柏林的Pixelord 和Max Dahlhaus 共同合作完成。恍如昨日的地球村幻景由于疫情的爆发一瞬间崩塌了，但这一切都无法阻止人们相互联系。这张EP展现的就是音乐人在其中的感受。

两位音乐人都善于制作黑暗冷酷的音乐，这次创意之间的碰撞使结果产生了许多奇妙的变化。整张EP就像一台轰鸣的涡轮引擎，声浪持续地压迫着我们的心脏。在厚重的的鼓点与粗糙的背景噪音之间总有一些奇特但又美妙的声音，他们出现时就像两片锐利的金属片擦过一般使听者的头皮一刺。所有这些声音共同构成了一个未来的科幻世界，丰富的细节使人们进入无尽的想象空间。在这七首歌的旅程中，这个世界被不断地毁灭，又被不断地重建，充满史诗感的结尾把这一切留给了未知。
