Since the 2019 release of their EPs Black Cat (Optimo Music) and She Takes NRG (Ivan Smagghe’s Les Disques de la Mort), the Zillas have been busy building a steady catalog of EPs, tracks, and remixes for labels like Polari, Nocturne, Dischi Autunno, Inside Out, Multi Culti, Throne of Blood, Microdosing, and more. Along the way, they’ve garnered support from futuristic fellow travelers like Roman Flügel, Dixon, Jennifer Cardini, Justin Strauss, Bradley Zero, Sean Johnston, and many others. Deep in the studio or out in the club, the Zillas mix slow-motion death disco, dubbed-out drum machine music, and of course ACID to excite party people from all planets.

The Australian native and co-founder of mind expanding imprint Multi Culti began his voyage into production in the noughties as Gus Da Hoodrat, part of the party-starting Bang Gang crew. After a brief hiatus from music he returned as Dreems, and with that a more organic psychedelic approach to DJing and producing.

This deep natural approach is mirrored in how he runs Multi Culti with fellow DJ and friend, Thomas Von Party. Since starting the imprint in 2013, the pair have cultivated a striking visual and audio aesthetic, becoming flag-bearers for kaleidoscopic pan global sounds.

The Other Side returns for its seventh season as if it was still its first. Trying to do things differently in order to avoid getting stuck in a loop. Keeping it fresh and up to date whilst bridging the gaps between the past, the present and the future. Curiosity is the key to an open mind that takes in as much as possible and filters it back out to the discerning ear. This continuous mix of aural delights will always be a comfort zone in which you can disconnect, relax and come back to a safe place.
