She had been his princesa for far too long and now she longed to run through the hills with simpletons and dance to the chimes and strums of guitars and piano's amidst the drums and the green grasses of a place so far away.

MUSHROOM HOUSE is the Toy Tonics‘s series for indie-afro-weirdo dancemusic. On this compilation you find the 11 best tracks: Guest producers Kiwi, Harry Wolfman, Hugo Capablanca, Art Alfie from Studio Barnhus and Vito & Druzzi from New York‘s Throne of Blood made these unusual tracks for the Toy Tonics series. Red Axes, DJ Sprinkles, Joe Claussell contributed remixes. There is also Italian fashion designer Marcelo Burlon featured on one track (the wonderful Mammaraccho by The Barking Dogs). syncopated, sometimes faltering beatbox rhythms, a swaggering bassline and fluttering 
arpeggiation. Coupled with hand-played chords, this is a prime example of how Dürerstuben 
can tame the beast machine and let irregularities be strengths. If you can get down with Metro 
Area, Zapp, Tensnake, and yes, even Survivor, then pick this one up.
