Dave Lee teams up with the much loved Horse Meat Disco crew for a bright and fun escapade under the night sky. Featuring the soaring vocals of Angela Johnson, Dave and HMD lay down some serious disco bassline energy complete with a super catchy chorus. For this 2021 release, Dave Has revisited the original production and crafted a seriously soulful version for 2021, focusing the groove onto the live bass guitar, soulful keys, and bubbling synth melodies this new version is a proper feel good sing-a-long anthem.

Dave Lee joins forces with London’s super disco collective, Horse Meat Disco to rework the T.S Monk classic, 'Candidate For Love'. This debut collaboration also features long-time Sunburst Band vocalists Diane Charlemagne and Donna Gardier.

There are three mixes on offer with the classic Joey Negro Disco Blend, a more sleezy Horse Meat Disco Mix and a Moroder-ish dub version from JN.

Believe it or not this is the 200th Z Records single release which saw a limited pressing on coloured vinyl as an exclusive for Record Store Day 2014, one that sold out within hours of hitting the stores.
