MOON HANDLED

Life, we realize, was much like a song. In the beginning there is mystery, in the end there is confirmation, but it's in the middle where all the emotion resides to make the whole thing worthwhile.

The music in my soul is both strong and bold.
Just like the bards as they sing songs of old.
The music that I play comes in every variety.
From sad to happy, strong to weak.
My soul thrives with music, coming alive.
The joy of it is known to only me, myself, and I!
Others may see it as my cheerful personality,
But I see it as the many other sides of me.
The music in me has many different pitches.
From a larks sweet notes to an eagle's sharp screeches.
Sometimes it is like the river, rushing over rocks,
But also like a ripple effect caused by a single drop.
The music in my soul is such a thing to behold
And has more value than pieces of silver and gold.
The rhythm and the beat flow easily.
Like a song with perfect melody and harmony.
This music inside me is seamless like time.
And yet, this is why I call it mine.

Deep in burrows,

De jingoist onthouden?

Wat gebeurt er met Miley Virus,
in haar sprookjesachtige léotard
Borsten kale voor iedereen te zien ...
kraan op haar zelf?

Al lijkt het?
EEN wereld die is gewoon ziek?
Of is het een geweldige metafoor voor
een goocheltruc?

Terwijl de Grote Houdini
rollen met een band
u kijkt rook n spiegels
en miskenning zijn handen.

Televangalists welvaart prediken!
Peilen van de kerkbanken,
terwijl je kijkt naar mensen
gek op het nieuws!

Wat er onder zit Denver?
De koepel van de Rots?
Zijn er veel groeiende steden?
Of is dat alleen praten?

Er was eens een machtige schip
dachten ze nooit zou zinken ...

Mensen, wat onder een ijsberg

en het is DICHTERBIJ DAN U DENKT!

All tracks were recorded at the Divine Word University Art Studio on December 4-6, 1973.  We wish to thank Dexter Sy of Bomba Press for transferring the songs from reel to cassette tapes to mp3.  Stay awesome and enjoy listening.
