With the first single off the EP, Street Light featuring Berklee College of Music Alumni, Gwen Bunn (vocalist and producer of Schoolboy Q’s Collard Greens feat. Kendrick Lamar), the release celebrates the skills of upcoming young musicians who are writing, self-producing and taking full advantage of their vocal and multi-instrumentalist talents.

Our nineteenth release.

Surfase Records continues on a local tip for its 19th release and issues more relentless Copenhagen underground music, as Ballistics presents three abstract bass tracks for his first release on the Danish label.

From the dusty, tribal dizziness of Kushimi and the minimal Besishar soaked in subsonic atmosphere, on to floor-pounding Alta, Casper Meinhardt’s EP has heavy whiffs of old
school drum’n’bass, dark footwork, and absolutely haunting soundscapes.

After a few years of absence from producing bass music, the co-founder of d’n’b live band F.U.K.T. and member of DDD, comes unquestionably correct. This was worth the wait.

 For the second installment of Moovmnt’s monthly Dutch producer series, ‘Werk Space’, they invited Moods to the Red Bull Studios Amsterdam.
Each month they invite a producer from the Netherlands to showcase his artistry and challenge him to work in an amazingly fruitful environment.

The Red Bull Studios Amsterdam is a state-of-the-art recording and production facility, where renowned and up-and-coming artists, are provided with everything they need in order to celebrate and create music!
 
Moovmnt invited the alluring SIAM from Ghent (Belgium) to lay down some amazing vocals and managed to record and mix everything within a day. Her jazzy style of singing fits perfectly on our newly created song entitled “Organic”.

The Earth is actually just one part of 5 connected worlds or Dominions, called the Imajica (Sic). Overseeing all of the dominions is the Unbeheld, Hapexamendios (God). However, Earth became separated from the other four worlds long ago. This explains both the appearance of extraordinary phenomena on Earth and the lack of understanding of magic and acceptance of the extraordinary as commonplace (as it is in the other four worlds). The void that separates Earth from her sister worlds is called the "In Ovo".

Great magic users called Maestros have attempted through the ages to reconcile the Earth with the remaining Imajica (Sic), including Christ. This Reconciliation can only happen once every 200 years. All previous attempts failed; the most recent resulted in the horrific death or madness of those involved. A secret society known as the Tabula Rasa formed after this failure; its directive is to prevent the use of magic on the Earth, motivated by the fear that such a disaster may occur again. At the present time, three reconciled dominions are ruled by the Autarch, who lives in the great city of Yzordderrex in the Second Dominion, while the first dominion - though reconciled - kept inaccessible by the power of the Unbeheld who resides there.
