The second release for Atomic Alert sees False Persona delivering his hard-hitting, explosive electro sound. Although a fresh face, the 21 year old Bournemouth-based producer has been self taught music production and DJing since the age of 13, and after spending years learning how to make different styles of music under a multitude of aliases, his sound as an artist definitely serves as a hybrid of genres.

On the title track Unknown Variable, he combines extra-terrestrial mutating synths and ghostlike pads with an insanely infectious bass line. Similarly, Hive Mind is a deep space club roller constantly buzzing its way through your mind.

The introduction of Brighter Days and By My Side is False Persona's own form of alchemy; reconstructing his usual element of club-ready electro with an expansive sonic landscape of subsonic pressure waves and euphoric pads layered with other-worldly vocal samples and magical glitchy percussion. A nuclear remix of Brighter Days cooked up by Dexorcist, one of the most prominent icons of electro and a dreamy rework of By My Side, Atomic Alert's Nite Fleit presses the button on this diverse weapon of an EP.

After exploding onto the scene as one half of 'Mac & Ward', racking up international radio and A-list DJ support, Leeds based producer, Tom Hayward, is launching a brand new solo project; 'Blood Type'. 

BLOOD TYPE
Leeds based Producer and DJ, Blood Type, grew up in Cumbria and was exposed to dance music from an early age, DJing at local youth clubs, night clubs, then turning his hand to production at the age of 12. This passion was quickly followed by drive, as Blood Type ran multiple events and started to take on work producing/engineering music for multiple other artists. Fast forward to 2023 and Blood Type has 15 years of studio experience under his belt, with 3 years as an artist under duo 'Mac & Ward', and is more ready and driven than ever to express himself, for the very first time, with his very own project.

"Emotional connection that sees no boundaries or genre" describes the Blood Type sound. The only 2 non negotiable, core beings of the music are; to be appropriate for a club environment and to be deeply loved, musically, by the artist - giving people more ability to connect and relate.

In the last 3 years alone, Tom Hayward has a proven track record of success. The ability to gain consistent radio support (including Radio 1), Spotify editorial playlist support and A-list DJ support (Calvin Harris, Gorgon City and TSHA, to name a few) in Ibiza super clubs and stages such as EDC Las Vegas, all the while being involved behind the scenes on other artist projects that have amassed close to 4 million Spotify streams, prove that the exciting Blood Type project is destined for success.
